Got that same email everyone got but also got the one below at the same time. However StubHub account still shows delivery via fedex for April 7th (original ship date was this week when I bought the tickets). StubHub knows nothing about the masters, the process of local pick up, or anything for that matter since their customer service is all overseas. But they have no idea if it’s local pickup or being delivered. Hoping the tickets magically arrive this week on my doorstep but I’m preparing for the worst which is not getting the tickets mailed to me and showing up to the house and them telling me they don’t have my tickets since it’s labeled as “delivery via fedex” on my account

At least several years ago I was searching Masters tickets, and then got a call from a special area of Stubhub called something like "high value events" offering assistance.  The person was very knowledgable about the Masters.  Maybe we need to track down that area, if it still exists.

It was a Blip on the screen. It would’ve been $999 + 46% fees/taxes or $1450.  I haven’t seen anything else that low or anything similar low on Tuesday or Wednesday.  There is just not that many listings and will be interesting to see inventory picks up this week. I went to eBay and  searched  “masters ticket” for sale and I didn’t see much for sale under those words unless there is a better way to search. 

 

Can’t imagine standing in line at the house waiting for practice tickets… doesn’t make sense with all the people  unless there’s a new pick up location somewhere else. That would be crazy on a residential street.

StubHub is swearing it’s still being shipped to me. I asked then why did I get an email telling me the seller switched it and they have no answer. But delivery on April 7th won’t work since that’s when we fly down. StubHubs solution was to change the shipping address to the hotel we are staying at. Idk whole thing is a confusing mess. With them being the main reseller for the masters I’m shocked they don’t have a help line specifically for the event especially since they rent out a whole house to get people tickets

I think there is a mixup and it's being caused by StubHub.

 

StubHub's intent per email was to change all competition round badges (Thu-Sun) from Fedex to pickup.   So I believe sellers need to ship to LMS (NY) provided shipped by March 31st.  Post-March 31st should be shipped to LMS Augusta (StubHub would update shipping labels in accordance with these dates).  If a seller wanted to deliver in person in Augusta then LMS needs to be contacted to coordinate on-site delivery.

 

What's actually happening is they included practice rounds in their communications to sellers/buyers (regardless of selling practice/competition you got the same email from StubHub when the email actually only refers to competition badges).   Seems like this is where the issue is.   Shipping label on stubhub would answer this and if they actually changed the shipping label for practice round as well.

 

@Dex2211 I think StubHub initiated this and not the actual seller.

 

Let's see how it plays out and what their intent really was (is content of email wrong (omitted practice rounds by mistake)? Or  Is email distribution list wrong (including practice sellers/buyers incorrectly)?

Has anyone ever tried tickpick for masters tickets?  Will be my first time trying to get tickets as well, don't think I'll ever win the lottery.

Never for the Masters but i've used them for plenty of other things and never had any issue.

Postal service, that would make sense with a delay! Didn't think of that one. If anybody ends up buying a practice round now, let us know if the FED X shipping is delivering to your house or if you get a notification that you have to pick them up in person at the stub hub house.

Received clarification from stubhub this afternoon.  Practice Rounds can go fedex directly to buyer and competition rounds must go through LMS at this point in time.  StubHub made an email distribution mistake.

How did you find a credible person at SH to tell you that? Generally speaking their call center people have been unhelpful for other events and it seems they can see/just tell you all the same stuff you already know

I'm attending Tuesday and Sunday.  If I'm feeling loosey goosey might go to wash rd  to see what's there for Friday.  However I think those sellers are in tune with the online markets (stubhub, etc.)  Not a gimmie arbitrage play.

I had a buddy do it 3 out of the last 4 years. Took him a lot of work and negotiating he said but he got in far less than stub hub has been showing. I get its risky and paying extra for the ticket *in hand*  before the morning of is understandable. But I think there are more options, granted its not a guarantee

It's still visible on ebay, just go to completed auctions.  If ANGC is sending out cancellation letters, this is the easiest way for them to find the scalpers.

Good to know. Even with stubhub showing delivery by April 7th, Im praying a Fedex truck shows up this week in front of the house even tho my fedex app is showing no shipments coming my way 🙃 Lol. As a seller tho I would ship my tickets immediately so I know they get there fine and on time so I know I will get paid lol
