it shows that cross out / discount price for nearly all the listings when refresh my screen.  I assumed that was normal and people were just cutting prices as the time goes on to get rid of their tickets.

Interesting, so I see the crossed out / discount whether on my phone or laptop.  but just noticed the phone shows the same tickets for $5 less.

I am logged into stubhub via linking to my google account.  not sure if that makes a difference?

Probably some algorithm based on individual users past SH history.  I buy a lot for concerts, and sell some when needed, so maybe they don't bother with a discount for me, as an example.

I somehow deleted my 2024 data, but will go back to screenshots now and get some of it in the spreadsheet.  Also feels low to me this year vs last.  But concerning "storm damage", I'm most interested in going this year to see what the course looks like after the SEPT hurricane, so that might somewhat offset the Tiger-out news.

I don't think we ever saw them dip below 1.5k much, let alone 1k. Be interesting to watch them over the next week as weather starts to factor in to play. Also, last year was the eclipse so I think that was part of the hype.

Ah I see. Filters are just marketing different prices but it will end up being said price with the fees and adjustments. Good info.

No, I don't have it turned on (red dot).  And when it's on it doesn't effect the price

Yeah, the real way for us to confirm is to each select a single from the same listing and see what the final/final cost is

Fun story, I had a buddy try Craigslist a few years ago. called and spoke to a nice lady about tickets she had, could even hear a little league game in the background. She said her husband won them and she had 2 extras they were willing to part with. Price was decent, not so good that you would be super suspicious. I was sitting with him during the call, everything felt fine!  We even looked her up on Facebook and everything checked out. She said she would be willing to meet to exchange, all she required was 100$ to hold them since she was going to remove the ad which felt reasonable. They agreed on a time and place and she even text him to confirm the night before after he sent her the 100$.

 

Well long story short, the day of the meeting her phone # wasn't working anymore lol. 

 

Buddy got his 100$ back from PayPal for each ticket so it could have been worse.

 

The funny part.. 2 days later he googled her to find her Facebook again, A arrest report with her mug shot popped up. She was arrested near Augusta for that very thing!! No telling how many people she got. She only asked for 100$, had the family, everything. I bet she got a couple thousand off the scam before somebody got pissed and reported her for it. Moral of the story, there is no safe way to do this outside the lotto. People will scam you even for 100$!!!

My craigslist story is that I bought a ticket from a PGA pro last year  for a practice round after he walked the course in the morning. When he told me I had to go through a separate entrance I thought it would be trouble, but worth a shot since he said he'd refund if I had issues. Well I tried to enter and ended up in the Augusta security office having to give an account of what happened. The guy is banned forever; what a fumble. Got my money back at least, lol. 

 

I did just grab an ANWA ticket off craigslist last night with no problems though, only time I use it is for masters every year.
