I have literally fed 7 adults and 4 children tacos using 3 different meats, nachos with cheese as a side and various cheeses, salsa etc for like 75$ CAD.

 

How on earth is this even possible.

True. There was a Taco Bell like a block from my old house in LA ... nearest Del Taco was like a 15min drive. 

 

So clearly, I went with Taco Bell for those times when I needed it. But I always was like "Man, this ain't as good as Del Taco." 

 

But time is money, my man. And as anyone that's ever dealt with LA knows; proximity is king.

Has been drinking for a long time. He can manage himself a lot better now. He doesn't get drunk anymore.

For me Taco Bell was on the list of places I only ate after a night of drinking. Still haven’t eaten Denny’s sober! 😂 Taco at Del is definitely sober worthy. Haha

Kinda my old favorite thing was to let my homeys at Bigfoot Lodge in Atwater get me and my (very handsome) best pal all sauced up as seen here ...

 

 

... then walk down to Del Taco just up the street for a #7. Then stumble over to our homey's place behind Tam's.

They had to break out the delivery van for this one. I don't see how the usual Prius could have hauled that much. Plus you know how crazy the delivery prices are getting these days.

How this is possible with gastric bypass, I do not understand. No judgment at all. I just don't anatomically understand how one eats that amount after the procedure.

My ex wife's mom got the gastric bypass. It was sometimes unpleasant to take her out to dinner because she'd overeat and have to, um ... dispose of it. Sometimes in less than ideal situations.

 

But she worked on The Gong Show in her youth. Not much shame from that one. I always did like when she'd pick me up at McCarran after a flight from LAX and we'd go straight to the Double Down Saloon - my second home for going on 20 years - for a** Juice shots.

Great pic! Just looking at it takes me back as well. I think we probably lived a very similar lifestyle back in the day.

Can't even put into words how much I love that dude. He's 6'8" and strong as all hell and saved me more times than I can recall when I'd start writing checks my a** couldn't cash. 

 

And yeah, back in the day indeed. We can still turn it on every so often (did so last weekend with a dinner at Piero's, trip over to Area 15 then a blackjack sesh at Circa) but man, I so cannot roll like I used to.

 

I mean, FFS they had me playing BASS as recently as last month!

Anyone with access to a White Castle knows how handy it can be for those 3am food binges after a long night at the brewery.

 

However, no one wants to follow you into the latrine for several days after....
