John Daly and Taco Bell. $446.10

Way back when we had a saying that there was no way someone could eat $5 worth of Taco Bell in one sitting no matter how much weed and/or beer they had indulged in.

 

IIRC tacos and burritos were less than $.50 each and they made up the bulk of the menu.  Nowadays they don't even put regular tacos and burritos on the menu, it's all combos of things I don't want for much more than I want to pay.  Haven't been to one for years.

I am guessing he was at a bar and they didn’t serve food so he ordered for a lot of people.  The Uber eats charge is a lot cheaper than a DUI.  I feel sorry for the person who has to clean the bathroom at the bar, hotel or at home after this.

 

I used to consider Taco Bell a bargain when tacos were $0.79 now there like a $1.49 so I don’t eat there anymore.

Here on the West Coast we don’t have White Castle. When I went to one for the first time in Chicago I was pretty excited to see what it was all about… I was just off the plane and hungry. Ordered quite a few, didn’t finish ‘em. To say I was disappointed is an understatement.

I've lived in different areas and have had all three.  I wouldn't rate them that way.  With that said I haven't been to a Taco Johns or Del Taco for over 30 years.

yeah I envisioned him at a party with 15-20 people. Maybe at his house.

Side note.  Southern bell.  That brings my mind back to the 80s.  My grandmother  called them “ bell telephone “  as if she was there when they formed the company .  She wasn’t. But I’m not sure when the name changed or broke out into regions.  Anyway. That was a term I hadn’t heard in years!

Agreed on The Habit over In-N-Out! Double char w/an extra patty all day!! And yeah, both are much less $ than SS. 
 

*Man, I’m like halfway out the door to get a burger or hit the taqueria now! 😆

My son worked at that location for a few months during his sophomore year of college. He also goes to the DR at Westchester all the time. Small world.
