She is actually a Lions and Packers fan doc. She doesn't have to scoot because your commissioner finds her one of the most attractive gals from my home state of Michigan. 😀  She will be back with us weekly when we start the new NFL season's picks thread.

COURSE: Umstead Pines, Durham, NC

TIME: 3:15 tee-off

WEATHER:  93, sunny, dewpoint mid 60's, breezy 

STATS: Mixed tees, 5850 yards, 44-46=90, 12 fairways hit, 34 putts

HIGHLIGHTS:  Breeze actually helped keep us sane on a hot day, 3 hour and 2 minute round even with letting 2 singles play through, lost one ball after a "New York City Style" hybrid (i.e. a thin slice) into a pond on the right side of the 11th fairway, consumed 2 glasses of water, 1 28 oz Powerade Zero, 1 PBJ, and 1 banana

This post is about a gross misconduct, a serious oversight, and something that borders on unforgiveable.....

Thank you Q for the shout out. I will relish my PGA TOUR season long picking success a tad while longer for I know our picking of NFL games is near and that will bring me back to sucking soon enough. 😅

Way cute photo of a couple out golfing with joyous expressions on their face!  That fairway behind you looks to be in great condition and it also contains a bunch of fairway pits to navigate away from. Loved the thin crust (NYC pizza) slice reference. I see you found plenty of fairways as usual....congrats.  Glad you and Mrs. NCL got out there and showed some true golf warrior strength in battling the excessive heat that we have been having here in North Carolina. Thanks for telling us about your weekly game LP.

That is a pic on the 355 yard 17th hole.  What doesn't translate is how much lower the left side of the fairway sits.  Just left of the bunkers you have big drop off and if down there it can be tough to see the green.  Also, those bunkers are no bueno!  So, hit the fairway right of the bunkers, put your 120-130 yard shot on the green and make the putt...easy birdie!  (Confession: I really don't find it easy)
