WOW !  So our two leaders who are currently tied made this week 7 and 8 points.

Looks like this one (the back 9) is coming down to the wire between doc an TI.   

All is set for a Delaware Showdown next week at the BMW.

Wow what a conclusion to a rather important Playoff tournament this afternoon it was down in Memphis . 

 

Since he came on TOUR I've been a fan of Mr. Zalatoris. I have been amazed at his coolness and his ability to exude extreme confidence while battling on some of professional golf's biggest stages right out of college. Few out there can equal his ball striking skills. He doesn't let tough spots rattle him one bit. Many of his expressions I see while I watch him play I find rather entertaining. I like his swashbuckler demeanor a bunch. He is wafer thin yet can just bring it. I got home from work today at 4:30 and set up some HULU PGA TOUR action on my laptop.  I am wicked happy I got to watch the exciting home stretch finish and playoff LIVE. Will Z.  finally snagged a trophy.  I captured this fine photo after that very important putt dropped. 

 

This thread became electric during the playoff and it was a cool place to be.

 

Today on the correct league's stage there were fireworks a plenty.

Here is something to chew on until Wednesday when the picks are due.

Since there are no missed cuts everyone is essentially assured of 1 point.

I am thinking "make the cut" will be only the players that advance to the final 30 next week?

This will make most of us go with the favorites but it does throw in a little wrinkle for those rolling the dice on some of the mid level longer shots to break through. Some of the hotter players are not as high in the rankings and some of the higher ranked players are not playing all that well coming down the stretch.  It brings the whole field into play now. Instead of just guys like JT,Rory,Rahm You can stray to Finau, Zelatoris, Fitzmagic.  Not a lecture just a thought.
