Today I played my 17th round of 2022. I got two assistant pros in the area to join Steve and myself at Crooked Creek. I will let you know how this afternoon went and also catch up with tales of my two rounds from last week. 

A recap shared soon. 

The weather in Asheville has been spring like and we've been of late free of playing bundled up . Even with no more cold hands and wearing less restrictive clothing I still find myself in a slump. With the days staying lighter longer I have started back practicing twice a week. That didn't help today. 😅

I've altered a few things in my swing.  A wee adjustment period is to be expected.

Checking in from Charlotte this morning.  I have a project going on here and made a visit.  During my travels, I noticed via social media that my favorite band (311) was also playing in town last night. I grabbed a ticket and went and saw 311 @ The Fillmore last night.  Not sure if any of ya's have ever heard of them.  Pretty popular band in the 90's, for me at least.  It was pretty awesome.  I haven't been to a show since Covid.  They put on a great show.  Not bad for some 50yr old's.  So good I decided to buy a ticket to tonight's show in Raleigh.  Its only a 2hr drive from Charlotte.  I can do that in my sleep.  Looking forward to another kick arse night jammin to some good tunes.

68 degrees, partly cloudy and a steady breeze during yesterday's battle with Caswell Pines in Yanceyville, about a half-hour north from us.  We probably play here twice a year as it's nothing fancy but does feature some elevation changes and a different challenge. 

Rode 18 (some holes were CPO) and played mixed tees at about 5900 yards.  The course was hosting a HS match later in the day and the greens were lightning fast with tough pin placements, bordering on the unfair as more than a few were placed on slopes🤬.  I 3-putted 5 times and on a Par 3 I 4-putted on my way to 41 putts total and a 55-49=104 total.   I proudly finished "strong" as I played the final 5 holes in 23 strokes, 3 over.  10-14 fairways hit and played the same ball all day.  My Titleist Tour Speed finished quite scuffed and my red Sharpie mark was a faded pink but it survived battered and bruised (much like my ego)...

Looking forward to the next time out...I feel an 85 coming on!!!        👍 😜

LOL ! I somehow missed this great post yesterday.  My ex wife had a major crush on Greg Norman. True story, she ended up waiting on him at The Bellagio in Vegas. My ex worked at a fancy live music lounge inside the casino.

When she came home that night after having the Shark and his pals in her section for hours during her shift she told me he was even hotter in person, and if he were to ask, she would easily leave me for him. 

Yes NCL, P3P and I know all too well that the struggle is real. 😅
