Tees: mix tees of aprrox. 5925 yards

Stats: Shot 44-48=92, 12-14 fwys, 37 putts

Weather:  92 ,dew point around 75, very muggy, slight whiff of breeze

Highlights:  1st ball launched at 3:45, busy course but all twosomes in front of us so pace was excellent, finished in 3:10,  4 three-putts on 1st 5 holes was ugly, nice stretch from 6 thru 12 at 1 under, finished 6-7-6 (7 over) as I ran out of gas, played same ball and lost it on 18 in the drink, drove the ball nicely with 1 gift from a tree that spit out my Titleist into the fairway, one miss was 1 foot left of fwy and other miss was a pop-up that landed short of the fairway, recent rain has course in nice shape for early August as greens were true and the ball sat up nicely in the fairway.  Water, Powerade, banana, but could have used PB &J around the 15th!

The course behind you does look in choice condition. Another cute photo T and L.  ⭐  Just a fairway finding machine you are Mr. Plattsburgh.  The holes 6 thru 12 stretch saw you on a decent heater. Congrats.

So crowded and full of far more cruddy stuff. Sin City has become so different and I find that quite sad. Vegas today is nothing like either the town I knew when I lived there while attending UNLV in the early 80's or is it anything like the place I knew when I worked on Las Vegas Blvd for a decade from 1996-2006. 

Many will still have an excellent vacation there but I can tell you the place has lost all of the charm it once had. Vegas was a blast when it possessed a much more temperate environment.

I talked myself out of picking JT and I really wanted to because of how good he has been to me the two times this season when I have selected him. I thought I bet he knows this course better than many others competing this week.  He was a last minute scratch by me and Adam the smooth Aussie got the start instead of the kid from close by Hickory, NC.

I bet I end up regretting that late line up change. 

 

The Western Carolina University Golf Team Catamount fired a tasty 66 and is T14 tonight with his -4. 

Congrats on the very solid start JT Poston.

We got ripped off when we came for my brothers bachelor party.  The cabbie took us to some shady part of town to a strip club that lost their liquor license and all their prime dancers.  It was a big cover charge and no booze just sodas

We got out of there quick.

My brother got scammed out of some money on Fremont Street and I bought a fake gold bracelet.  It's all good though it was still fun.  Casinos rip people off making millions every day.  It's fun while they screw you though.
