Never have I ever -

 

• Made it through one season without changing putters;  same result all the time, still suck at putting.  Going broomstick now.
• Been able to recover fully during a round after a dead shank
• played well at Mpls golf club (many opps and not an overly difficult course)
• when playing well been able to resist buying new crap
• had a bag with less than 4 brands in it

I had a buddy who threw a club in celebration.  Made a 30 foot putt for eagle on a par 5.  Tossed his putter up in the air and.....it got stuck in a tree.  Took his shoe off and threw it at the putter to try an dislodge it...and got his shoe stuck in the tree.

Yep.  I know the rules.  It's become an ongoing joke with my golfing friends.

I'll get a hosel rocket from time to time and shoot one into the woods with a wedge.  I very rarely lose a ball off the tee luckily.

Had a round last year where I hadn't lost a ball until 18.  Par 5, laid up second shot on a green I normally go for, specifically so that I would take the water out of play and not lose a ball.  Shanked it into the woods.  Check please.

Never have I ever had a bad experience being paired up with other golfers. So far so good. 

 

In fact, most of the time I'll ask an older single golfer to join our 2-some and me and my buddy get waxed by the older guy. This has happened a few times lately and its really encouraging to see that there's more than 1 way to score. Golf is a game that we can never judge a book by its cover. Last week asked an older gentleman to join us and his ankle was mangled from a hockey accident 30yrs ago and no lie, his backswing was shorter than Jon Rahm but man did he hit it pure from the senior tees. I think he was even par on the back nine. I told him, one day I want to play like you do!
