Fst 90 replacememts

If you cant get the fst.90s now whst would be the closest replacement?

 

Figuring  kbs.90 or nippon 950s

 

Anything else close?

I like both the KBS Tour 90 and the Nippon 950s. One thing I've found is that the KBS is slightly stiffer and it seems that a soft stepped Stiff KBS is pretty close to a Stiff Nippon. I have one set of irons with Stiff Nippon 950 and another set with soft stepped Stiff KBS Tour 90.

 

edit: I've heard good things about the TT Elevate shafts but I have no experience with them

If you can find the KBS, buy them.  They are having serious supply chain issues.  There is a KBS Tour Lite coming, but they cannot commit to when it will ship.  I'm watching ebay myself, and may get just the heads and shaft on my own.  or pull my KBS Tour 90's and sell the old heads.

Yep...should have asked if you were only looking for parallel 😎 .... Apollo/Hireko may have a few suitable replacements to look into....similar in weight would be the Acculite 95, Phantom, and even the Acculite 85.  Not sure they make them anymore but the spectre lite would be similar in weight as well.  85 and 95 likely to be closest in how they play, but the others might be worth a look!

thanks   I  think the apollo stuff plays weak except the  ap44 /stepless  

I used to love the balistik  but like all shafts i like they stoppped making them!

Have you tried the Dynalite 100?  Might work. 

 

A little heavier then the FST 90, but the TT Score (Maltby) is the same shaft as the Dynalite 109, which came stock in some of the Nike offerings (it was called something different or had a different number associated with it).

I have a 5-AW set of Callaway Steelhead XR irons in near-new condition that have KBS Tour 90 R flex shafts.  I plan to pull the shafts and sell them, so if anyone following this thread is interested feel free to PM.
