Guess Sir Nick is just Nick to me now…

I do extremely seldom watch ads, fast forward on TV boxes, earlier tried to avoid them in newspapers and certainly do not click online ads. But now, Sir Nick on the PGA Tour leaderboards… should be something worth looking at.

 

Well… no. ”And right now I”m gonna give you this one minute drill…”, for free, maybe 15 times except it wasnt for free after 20 min of listening. It was blah blah blah for half an hour with the promise of in a few second getting some valuable teaser… 

Nick, give me back that half hour of my life!

 

I suppose that babbling is some kind of strategy, that to piss people off sells in some psycho manner and that all of you think I’m naïve making this post, that I really just helps that poor man getting milk on the table for his kids, by spreading the ad herostratically, but I expected more of Nick. Used to be a fan.

 

And I will never make the stupid  mistake of clicking on an ad again.

 

I suppose the post will be dumped soon but It cannot be helped. I got extremely stressed an annoyed by that ”in a few second” strategy.

Glad you got that off your chest.  But, successful clickbait is successful.  Anything that promises something like that for free is really just a lure to get you to pay for something more going forward.  

Maybe its a bit unseemly for someone with "Sir" in their title but he's got bills to pay like everybody else.  Now I gotta go get me some of those Squairz shoes, or however its spelled.

Talk of politics is banned, but let me say briefly that we've been working hard in the UK of late to ensure that a knighthood doesn't mean that much in the way of deservedness and integrity these days.

But, if the ad had been as anticipated, two minutes talk and then a Monte five minute intro to get one interested, why does that sell worse?

Let's see, Nick's "Masterclass" ad vs. the "MeUndies" ad I'm getting at the top of this page telling me to shop "V-day" - I think it's V-day for my wife everyday, lol (maybe that's not what they are getting at).

Sir Nick would have made a better James Bond than Daniel Craig IMO. Craig is a good actor and I liked him in Spectre  but he's too blonde and too short for the Bond character.

Faldo caught my attention when a smoke show girlfriend put a beatdown on his Porsche in a golf club parking lot ( in that way he's like Bond.)

Golf informercials are funny. I'm surprised they sell stuff with those tactics. Every time I see a golf informercial, it makes me think of the cheesy golf informercials like The HammerX driver, The Perfect Club, The Uro Club, etc.

OP, you aren't going to get ANY sympathy from this lot.  I once complained about an obviously faked sand iron ad by one of the Golf Channel personalities (name escapes me and will name him, but he is a former pro that had an injury). You know the type of ad, the person miraculously changes his swing for the better to get out of the sand. Laughable. This lot tod me to just fast forward through the ad.
