Info pertaining to the Scotty Cameron Studio Select line:

Price: $299

Options:

Grip
Length
Weight: "Heavy" heads are available through custom 35" can be 330 or 340 gram NOT 350
34" can be 340 gram or 350 gram etc.

Also you can make the putter more toe heavy or heel heavy by ordering a 15 or 20 gram weight in one and 5 grams less in the other.

Vokey website will open around April 1st and all orders must be done through the website just like the custom shop with Scotty

I agree totally. Fugly headcover. I bet we see a ton of those on eBay with people using special edition covers. Maybe thats a new trick, make your stock covers so ugly the customers will buy the limited covers to replace them...

AP1: This will be a great club for someone who needs forgiveness and they are at a very reasonable price of $699 retail w/ Dynamic Golf High Launch Shafts

Feel was great for a cast club

AP2: These are the real deal and they are not nearly as big as what everyone thinks. I would say they are about the size of the X-Forged, but with a bit softer lines to them. They are smaller then the r7TP

Feel & Performance: (37 degrees out) Not a fan of PX, but I really liked the way these felt nice trajectory, workable and good forged Titleist feel. I know in DG I would love this club.

ZB: Great forged club, but just an updated and blended set version of the 695. Should appeal to those users

can you explain real quick what is the deal on the back side of the AP's. Are those open channels in the back al la mx-25's? Or is there some type of back rubber filler in the box? No picture I have seen anywhere clearly shows this area of the irons. Thanks.

It is a full rubber fill to dampen vibrations and provide a smoother feel. Think 695.CH with a rubber fill in the channel!

I am right now in the San Diego airport, I was fortunate enough to be fit for AP2's today at the TPI in Oceanside. the clubs are incredible they are so consistant in distance(i hit three shots with my spec club on the Performance monitor one heel one toe and one center all were within 2 miles per hour ball speed and 3 yards of distance) they look great feel great and the fitting was top notch(more will come about the fitting in a future thread). I should get my clubs within a few days. a full review will follow.

Could not agree more with you... What shaft did you end up going with in your set? I am still waiting on my fitting cart (interchangable shaft system) to decide what I will go with.
