I definitely think it’s the best of the carbonwoods, way better than S2+ imo. Still maybe not as good as sim2.

Makes sense. That’s what I was thinking too based on how many SIM2 and SIM2 Max’s I still see out in the wild.

 

I think the SIM2 Max could be on the TM Mount Rushmore for their all-time best Drivers…going to be tough to beat it out.

2025 is off to a cold start here in IN. Have managed to get outside once since I’ve been back. Hit a few great shots with my new favorite club. 
 

Played a tournament when I was back in FL. Did okay, struggled with chipping and putting a lot. Was tied for 30 something out of about 80. 
 

Speaking of this new favorite club. Got a NIP M6 9w, got a Hzrdus black 80 for it and it’s been love ever since. Hit it much higher than a 3/4 iron and much better out of the rough. Really one of my favorite purchases. Won’t be in all the time as I don’t always need it but is just a super fun club.

Fellow Indianan just itching to get out and play! Great looking set up. Quite the gap between the 46 & 54. How do you deal with the in-between yardages? Clock system for 46?

Yea I'm in full itch mode and all this snow is really not fun. 

 

It's actually 48 so the gap is more even than it looks. I feel like I'm pretty good at taking distance off my wedges so I don't really worry about it. I also don't really have that distance often enough to want to take a longer club out.

So the only change from last season is the new 9-Wood?

 

Good for you for staying strong over the Winter, Lol! One new club is very reasonable for a WRX’r and shows a lot of restraint…Congratulations, Lol.

I really have just been satisfied with what I have. I haven't even really been looking at too much new stuff. What's intrested me the most is those 3d printed cobra MBs but those don't seem to actually be coming out. 

 

I'm just in full golf bug mode and just want to get out and play lol.

I’m really starting to realize that the best players hold on to their equipment as long as possible, and they only look to make changes when they absolutely have to.

 

I’ve been trying to fight the urges to buy new stuff all the time, but it’s definitely a struggle.

 

We joke about it on WRX, but it actually is an addiction for a lot of us.
