Front pics have been updated. Moved into a new place so figured I'd update the bag. I don't think anything has changed other than the speeder.

 

PXG fitting is still up in the air, if I do it will be towards the end of my summer, these 730s are getting worn lol.

 

Finished out my season with a T5 at our home event and solo 8th at conference so hopefully I can catapult this momentum into next season and snag a win.

Sweet setup man! How are you liking the Stealth 2 Plus Driver and 5-Wood? Are the new Fairways as good as everyone says they are?

Driver is very good, didn't think I could like a driver more than SIM2 but here I am! Super forgiving for what it is imo. 

 

I absolutly love this 5w, but I don't think its fantastic fo why everyone is saying. It sits perfect to me and feels great, hits all the windows I want it to. The ajustablity is what it is, I don't think it changes that much personally, but it's nice to have ig. As you can see I have everything standard lol.

Good to know. I’ve been hitting my Rogue ST Max Driver really well lately, so I’m not going to mess with that until after the season.

 

But I’m definitely curious to try the Stealth 2 Plus 3W since I loved the SIM2 Ti 3W and this looks like an upgraded version with more adjustability.

 

I barely ever use my 3W lately though, so not in a big rush to pay full retail price on it.

I haven't actually hit the 3w yet, I like my M6 so much I don't really try new stuff anymore. I would only really be intrested in building it like a mini driver, lowering the loft and weight forward, but I like my M6 so 😆

Back home for a few weeks and thought I’d show my setup for a particular tournament I have coming up. Might use it some other places too though. 
 

I’ve had the 0311ST for a while but finally changed the shaft and weight and got it correct. 
 

Specs 

- PXG Gen4 0311 X (18°) / PX Evenflow White 100HY 6.5

- PXG Gen4 0311ST (3) / DG TI X100

Page 1 pictures updated. Updates to both alternate and permanent setup. Decided to stick with the 730s for a while longer, but got some long irons to make it a bit easier for me. 

 

Went with the PXG gen4 0311 T 3&4 irons, the same X100 as the rest of my set. Liking them so far. So much easier to hit as well.

Welp it has finally happened, lasted almost a year but the S2+ has popped its face out. 

I’ll go to the PGATSS to see if they’ll replace it but I’ll probably just keep it in plastic and sell it if they do. Qi10 inbound.

Updated the Gen4s to the 0317s, PXG changed the shape of the X to be a little smaller top to bottom and a little thicker sole. Not what I would maybe prefer but its mosly a tee club anyways. After testing on the BLP I am very impressed with the 0317s. The 4 iron is great too, very similar to the gen4 but looks a little better. Here's a 3 iron shot:

 

As far as the Qi10 goes, I am very happy to get back to the standard head shape. The feel is much better than S2+ and I can actually tell where I am hitting it on the face which is huge. Going back to 45" as well. Should be set for spring! Next thing will probably be wedges. Still can't convince myself to give up the 730s.

 

My S2+ warranty will be here on tuesday, confirmed its a Qi10 LS, will be good to compare.

-Changed to counterbalenced blade putter

 

Changed back to the Gen4s becasue I just wasn't hitting the 0317s nearly as good, particually the 3i. Not really sure why as they are the same spec, just one of those things.

 

I prefer the look of a blade but end up putting better with a mallet. Since the tend of counterbalenced putters is going around I thought I'd give it a shot. Only played 18 holes as of writing this but I've made 2 of my longest putts this year with it, promising start.

@BagofToast hey man came across one of your posts today and saw you play P730. I've been thinking about getting the 760 3 and 4 but you spiked my interest in the PXGs. How you liking them? Have them in the cart ready to order lol.

When I was looking to replace my 730 3&4 my first choice was the 760, but I saw a set in a PGATSS and the long irons have like a werid amount of offset and it just looks awkward. Came across the Gen4s and got them. They go a little lower than I may like but they look and feel great. Would recommend.

Ended my spring season well with a solo 4th at conference. Got a team trip to Scotland coming up next week, stoked for that. Bent the 0317 strong to 17*, liking that better than the gen4 I had before. Back to the spider temporarily as well.

Did you shave down the leading edge of your MG4 wedges, or is that just lighting/camera angle?

I’m still on MG3. But I haven’t done anything to them, just how the dirty sole makes it look lol.

*FIRST WIN UPDATE*

Been some time since I updated, and it has been a good time. Been the best season of my career so far, 2 top 5 finishes and my first collegiate win! Everything came together for a weekend and all the hard work has paid off. Came up 8 shots short as a team, but 2nd is a good finish for us.

 

This is the most comfortable I have felt with all the clubs in my bag. Was finally hitting the driver like I was a couple years ago, high tight draws, hit lots of fairways. Hit my irons the best I have in my life, which was definitely a big factor, was fun to feel like I could hit any shot I needed to.

 

As for changes since last update: front pics are updated. Switched back to the spider x not long after my last update, just need to stop trying other sticks lmao. For the last 2 tournaments I’ve used the 0311 T 3i in place of the driving iron, as an extention of the set rather than have something fairly one dimensional.

Where do you play at?  My son is at Rhodes and is actually on his way to a tournament in Indy hosted by Wabash Monday and Tuesday.

I’m at Earlham. Got a win as a team my freshman year but nothing since. Would love to get another as a team.
