It is interesting how widespread the impact is from supply chain issues. I was an early adopter of the new LM from SwingLogic (SLX Hybrid X3). It's surprisingly good, but has a pretty big issue with missed sensor readings (all the swing/path data).

 

Come to find the chip set they wanted to use became unobtanium prior to the launch. So they went with a lesser chip hoping they could work their magic in firmware.

 

When it reads, it's great. But the reliability of readings is like 1 or 2 out of 10. Fortunately, they aren't leaving folks high and dry. The original chip set they wanted has since come available, so they'll be upgrading the sensor and doing a swap for all current owners. Still will be waiting until around March for that to happen. But at least they're going to make it right.

Launch April 2023 @ $4500. Not bad at all.

I'm curious what "Starting at $4500" means. Seems like there may be either some kind of subscription like BLP or maybe an unlock fee for all the data. That or it was just poor phrasing.

Uneekor usually had multiple levels of software for purchase, like Ignite, Refine, etc.

 

All of them so far have been one-time purchases.

I read somewhere they dropped face angle from the data sheet.  I really hope that's not the case.

We’re in a good spot here with increased competition. 
 

Waiting for more info before deciding on this or a BLP/GC3.

Do you think thats in response to Rapsodo and the other cheaper LMs making noise?  Does Uneekor now think they need to offer more bang for the buck?

 

If so, then we, the consumer, are going to win over the next 2-4 years.  More products, more features, less money.

Looks like it also ships with View software in the base purchase. No word on what  upgrades are available yet.

Maybe, though there's no precedent for that with Uneekor.

Pretty much have to get a really good amount including software and the hardware unit for that $4500 for me to be interested.  Anything more expensive and I'm just going to wait another few years.  Would rather spend my money on real golf.

We shall see. How much software you get (and if it's subscription based or not) is the only real differentiator right now vs the BLP. Hardware wise it's not giving any additional data points, yet entry price is higher.

I messaged their sales team and I was told the starting package includes their View Software.  They specifically said no data points would be price gated.

Not a Uneekor guy, so what does that include? There isn't anything about that package on their website, only their refine and refine+ offerings (which to be fair are both much cheaper than FSX)
