AD...GONE!

I am not sure what is going on with this site of late but its criminal to work on a ad for the period of time that I did tonight and then it vanished like it did!  

 

Trust me I know the rules as I have been one of your biggest advocates and one that has been here since the start!  Over 400 trades and sales in the BST and thousands of posts in different forums.  

 

I am aware that I had a set of 21 APEX PRO irons for sale/trade last week!  However, during the process my son (idiot) took my irons out and played a 9 hole round with them and damaged the 8 iron.  I have since replaced it with a new one (as indicated in the ad) and added a few items as my season is over next week from shoulder surgery which will replace multiple muscles and tendons form someone isles body.  Trying to be a good WRX'er I explained it all in the ad about the irons as this is truly NOT the SAME set...its a NEW 8 iron!  I was punished for doing something nice! 

 

How does someone with so much influence on this site and has brought so many people to this her just get deleted or anything!  The MODS are totally out of control!  I understand the rules MODS but I have also seen warnings NOT given for things that are not "golf related." Such as, balls being sold "opened golf balls being sold" (as I was given a warning) and other infractions that go overlooked.  Maybe you should choose me to be a MOD, I would be more available then many of the current ones!  I have sent two PMs to them and haven't received anything back.  I am on this site a lot and I understand what it takes to be apart of this community and what you indicate in your Guidelines isn't what some of your MODs live up to!

 

Treating others the way you want to be treated is the key component to preserving the site’s goals!  Disrespecting someones time and effort without warning goes against this!

Be considerate and respectful of each other!  As above.

Be considerate and respectful of other golf-related sites and their members.  I didn't know that Air Force Ones were golf shoes?  No cleats or any indication of traction to help in the golf swing.  Golf speakers that are not made by golf companies, same as rangefinders for deer!  I am sure I can go back to the BST archive and find several more "infractions" that were overlooked.

Please refrain from posting meaningless threads, one word (or short) nonsense posts, or the like.  Multiple of your high end users used one word posts such as "bump"  or "space."

No spamming or unauthorized commercial postings in the “Forums” or listing in the “Classifieds” without prior approval from management. Classifieds are free and for personal use.  I can't log onto the website without having to double tap on the forums button because if I do it too fast I will click on a ad that brings to another page for something for sale or spam.

 

Several times I have paid for a ad to be pinned and before the ad was pinned the item was sold, did I get my $10 back or make a fit...no!

 

b. Matched grip sets up to 13 grips - only ONE GRIP SET PER LISTING; tons of grips listing in the BST and archive with multiple grips "sets" for sale/sold.

 

All I want to do is sell my stuff before I have surgery next week!  If I can pay for my ad that I made today and get it pinned (as indicates in the rules) I will but we as the enduser need some help from you all!

Yet in the last week alone you have

 

1 - posted a listing for a bucket of loose golf balls for which you received the warning and

 

2 - posted a listing with the exact same items in a listing from a week earlier. If you had updates to that listing, you should have just made them in your old listing. As someone that cares as much about the BST as you claim to - you should know this. We ask everyone to adhere to the same set of rules whether they are a brand new user or someone who has been around a long time.

 

Moderators deal with hundreds of new items being listed every day, we simply do not have the time to write everyone a nice note if there are issues with their listing. Knowing - and more importantly following - the rules is the responsibility of the poster.

Trust me I did; two separate moderators!  If I add  items  to the previous ad I would be in violation of the rules as well, assuming I pinned it!  
 

you all don’t make it easy to contact who we need to, just today…one of you got back to me and said “I don’t moderate the BST” 

 

you failed to mention anything else about any of my other statements, just the ones you wanted.  At least you all are consistent.

You may ad items which haven’t been listed in past 30 days.  You can’t add items after its been pinned.
