What callaway grind is equal to the vokey f?

Hi I'm looking for a full swing yardage lob wedge. I prefer chipping with my 56m

I would buy a 60 f if they made it. 
so I'm looking for the callaway grind that is closest to the vokey f grind as I have a 50f and love it.

 I'd probably just go with the S grind. I believe an S grind is an F grind with some trailing edge relief. 

 

Another option would be to bend a vokey 56F to 58* but it wouldn't be a 60 degree. 

One alternate might be the low bounce W from callaway but thats still going to have a little wider sole 

 

Is your current F the high bounce or low bounce F grind?

I’ve been a vokey user for many years until the SM7 including an F grind user in sand and gap wedge. Went to MD5 over the last few years, the S was not close enough to the F to me. I went to the W grind, while better it was too wide for me but much better than S for me. Trying out the MG3 high bounce this year, so far it’s closer to F with a little more grind off the heal so I can open slightly. I liked the MD5 but the lack of F grind had me look around. I still like the M or C grind shape for my lob.

Not sure if Callaway has anything that is like a full sole,....but the closest effective bounce in the Vokey series, is the K grind that is stamped with lower bounce.  The wider sole increases the effective bounce enough to the point where is about equal to a Vokey F at stamped at 14* bounce

Although I play Callaway wedges, I had significant experience with Vokey wedges in 2016 and 2018.

 

In 2016, I got to attend a major golf expo, and got an hour hitting the new SM6 wedges while most golfers were eating lunch. Also got to talk to the Vokey marketing rep.

In 2018 I went to a Titleist Thursday event, and got to try the SM8 wedges. For both the SM6 and SM8 models, the best fit was GW and SW in F-grind, and LW probably M-grind.

 

Comparing the two companies:  The Vokey F-grind in SW has 14* bounce, but does not have as thick a flange compared to the Callaway W-grind with 12* bounce.

 

The Callaway S-grind is probably most similar to the Vokey F-grind, although it has only 10* bounce and more trailing edge relief.| The Vokey S-grind also has 10* bounce, but has more prononced trailing edge relief than the Callaway S.

 

BTW, have you tried the Vokey 60*/10 S-grind?
