TaylorMade Stealth Plus 9°, RDX Black, Pro 2.0 TS

Few things tonight... TRADES:  Swag Mallet Covers

 

1).  TaylorMade Stealth Plus 9°. Can't tell it has been hit.  4g hotmelt dead center and towards the face.  Head is 199g with hotmelt. Comes with OEM cover and brand new wrench. $old.

2).  Project X RDX Black 70 6.0.  Ordered this in the Stealth.  Plays 45.25" and is untipped.  TM Z Grip with 2 extra wraps under the lower hand to make it a Plus4.  $80.00.

3).  Fujikura Pro 2.0 TS 6 Stiff.  Tipped 1".  Tour Issue TM adapter.  This has not been butt cut so the raw length of the shaft is 45" after being tipped.  I can cut it to length and slap a TV 360 on there for no extra charge.  $110.00

Does adding hotmelt void the warranty on the head? I dont even know how they would know unless they weighed the head, and  I highly doubt they would even check, but anyone have any experience with hotmelt and warranty issues?

I would find that pretty hard to believe.  Most manufacturers use it.  All tour vans use it.  Plus I don't think they would ever cut open a head to see and it would vary based on the manufacturer.  I have never had a warranty issue so who knows.

Whether they check every head that has a warranty issue is another discussion, but 100% adding hot melt or even changing the weights voids the warranty. I know with my 915D2, I added hot melt and Titleist voided warranty on an issue that it had with the weight port.

915?  That was before the internet man! 😛

Hard to believe it was only short 6 years ago that 915D was discontinued in 2016. Its not old enough to be nostalgic, but it somehow is.
