Where to go for bending a wedge

I never had this done before so I am uncertain on where to take it. I live in NYC, does anyone have a person in  Staten Island or Brooklyn area that could recommend where to do this ?  I have 54s vokey id like to turn into a 55.5  i understand the bounce will increase from 10 to 11.5 as well is that correct.   I'm trying to drop down to just 3 wedges so id play 45 50 55.5.   Or I can just buy a 56 but I thought this experiment could be a good option.   I currently play 45 50 54 58 but honestly the 58 only comes out a few times and its for the unnecessary flop 90% of the time.   any help is greatly appreciated

whatever course or driving range you go to likely has a pro shop that can bend the wedges for you before you go out for your next round or range session.

Likely better off going 52/58.  While few play with a 56* wedge as their highest, it better have a good grind on it to make it versatile if not going to go higher in loft and that bounce.  Any time I try to drop a wedge, the GW is the first to go.

New york Golf Center should be right up there or go to any pga tss, they should be able to help.

this is a concept to explorer as well ... 58 would then have become a bunker club as well   i currently use the 54,  the 58 is the M grind so ill have to try that from the bunkers

our pro shops here at the local public courses don't have those type of services.  would have to try it at a round played in NJ

Not going to happen at any public NJ courses either.  Can’t think of one.  Try Golf Galaxy in Paramus.  Pretty sure they have those services.

Just buy the 56*.  Get it in a mid bounce and have a versatile club for any shot.  It seems like that will be easier than finding someone in the city to bend it.

 

Oh, and it’s WRX.  The default answer is always going to be to buy the next club…

This is pretty easy to do, and most shops should be able to do it.  

If you really care about your equipment, try to find a place that uses digital bender like this

The other question is: Are you good enough that the 0.5* matters?

The answer is likely no

0.5 degree, Dude I don’t even think the 2 degrees will make a difference honestly

You don’t even want to know how I bend them sometimes lol. 
 

Let just say small tweaks can be made with a little ingenuity and knowing exactly what feels right after years of trial and error.
