My fitting was on July 6th and during that fitting, I was quoted 3-5 weeks. I had Ping do a lot of engraving on the sole of my putter and that ended up taking a little long than they expected. I am scheduled to get it by the 25th of this month, so 7 weeks after my fitting and I honestly don't mind. I'd rather Ping take their time and make it perfect than rush the process.

My fitting was Augusta 4th. Just updated today. 
Tri-Sole relief done and one engraving. Two more engravings to do.

Really enjoyed the discussion with Alex, now the hard part.  Decisions on design.  Haven't been told no yet, but we'll see after my additional "crazy" Q's come back today.  

 

And I'm pretty sure I haven't seen/heard/read anyone with this model yet...perhaps an article about an LPGA player with one a while back....

 

Have to decide between two and the design of each would differ....

 I finally nailed mine down and it’ll be a bit different from where we started. Pretty sure more than one of us has gone through the same thing.

Oh, just at least decided on a model, colors but left some items open on purpose....been going back and forth.  

 

DZB baby!   That Anser 2D was tempting and the Anser2 Protos with the big Ping on the back was available, but I couldn't pass the DZB up.  After re-doing some numbers looks like it's going to be the best fit - and has lots of design ops.

Just got update photos from Alex, he said it'll go out for coating this next week and then be in the home stretch.  I'm keeping it pretty clean, just matte black finish, white paint fill and no engraving.  My fitting was July 27th so I'm hopeful to have it about 5 weeks after, so long as there aren't any issues with finishing/shipping.

Just finished my in person fitting. Alex was great, open minded and really took my spinning head and put it on straight with regards to putter needs. The tour was also good and he dropped some fun hints as to upcoming products. Sounds like the i230 irons might have my name on them. 
 

Went with Anser X. Could have gone with Kushin with double bend shaft but preferred the softer shape of the Anser. 33.5” with a prototype Pp58 grip that should help take some of my forward shaft lean out. Oyster with purple and white paint fill. 350 gram headweight. Shaft is matte black.

Not sure. I just like the Anser head.  I believe they also had the anser 2 and maybe other heads?

Most have that option, I think if memory serves.   We talked anser 2 models with flow next and all the mallets have them.

The anser x I rolled and am getting is definitely deeper front to back than the regular anser. Not as deep as the Kushin or Anser 2D though. So my inference would be that the Anser X they have is equivalent to an Anser D. Sorry for the roundabout answer as I didn’t ask if their were two versions, Alex only mentioned it as the Anser X.

They have one type of flow neck and this is it.

Been toying with the idea, looks so clean without milling, but still want to soften a bit. My old anser 2 has an abrupt click that I've noticed, and wanted to address with this build.

Surprising the difference in the “Oyster” finish on Stainless between yours and @butters35 . Your shaft is the same color as the head with a noticeable difference between his head and shaft colors.

 

Must be picture lighting …………?
