Why do I keep getting warned a out trying to post in the want to buy section some clubs I ha e? That I may be interested in trading... if I don't buy a set? That fits all the criteria for the WTB section??

 

Furthermore, nobody would have to post in the WTB section if there was no ridiculous rule saying someone has to post 75 times before being able to sell an item!!? What kind of sense does that make? I'm not on this site to chat, I'm here to buy and sell golf clubs and golf related items... I shouldn't have to hit a post limit to be able to sell something. 

 

So if you are going to give someone warnings, do it from an account that can be replied to so we can make our case and actually be heard. Thanks

I'm not a mod, administrator or know anything about your specific warnings. From what you have posted it seems you are, quite knowingly, breaking the rules as posted at the top of BST forum which is I imagine why you are getting warnings. If you are unwilling to be a participating member there are paid options you can avail of to post items for sale which are outlined in the BST rules at the top of that forum.

 

As I understand the history of Wrx started as and remains a chat site with the BST part and not a BST site which the owners seem quite vigorous in maintaining. If you keep trying to flaunt their rules I am sure you won't have to worry getting the required number of posts to post a BST ad. And I doubt your rant here will have any affect in changing them either.

You should read your own post.  Why would you WTB (want to buy) or trade clubs you already have.  That is straight from your post, my guess your trying to sell in the wrong section.  There are rules, you can follow or go to eBay or Fleebag Marketplace. 

 

A WTB post would be. I’m looking to buy a set of Ping i200 blue dot irons.  If you have a set let me know.

The 75 posts is to ensure people don't just sign up for new accounts to scam people. You can pay for a clubwrx membership for $35 a year or whatever to get BST rights or contribute to the community and build a reputation so that people trust you. 

 

These rules don't exist for no reason, they were introduced over the 15+ years the BST has been operating to keep everyone safe. 

 

As others have said if it doesn't work you can always pay a success fee to ebay or try your luck on Facebook Marketplace

The want to buy section is for posting clubs that you are looking for, not clubs to you have that you are willing to sell, that is what the "for sale" section is for. Notice how no one in the WTB section is doing what you're doing?

And you must be new to online communities if you don't understand that very obvious need for placing limits on who can buy and sell since otherwise all it would take for a bad actor (scammer, counterfeit seller, bot spammers etc) to rip people off is make a fresh account, post their scam ads, and then make another and repeat if they get banned. Not only that, but the "For Sale" section would be flooded with this type of fraudulent activity 24/7 that would require a full time person just to stay on top on cleaning it up, quite the headache. If you don't believe that is the case or think this is an overreaction then there is a former sponsor on this site that set up their own forum without these rules/limitations that now has around 750,000 posts of bot spam that buried their board. GolfWRX is the biggest golf community on the internet and these sorts of rules need to be in place for the amount of traffic here.
