Bandon Dunes 2024 - 16 golfers - set up on my own or use vendor?

Looking for some advice on how to make this happen. Use a vendor and if so who? or set up myself 

 

What months are most desirable?

Should be able to it yourself through group reservations. Need to call the day they start taking reservations for 2024.

No need to use a vendor, just call the main number for booking the second reservations open and they'll hold your hand through the entire process. Most every call taker I've worked with is great there.

Definitely do it yourself. It was one of the options I looked at for our group before we decided to go to Ireland instead. There were some very reasonable houses for rent in the Bandon area. Our group is maybe different from most. We enjoy renting a house rather than staying in hotels and we have 4 really good cook/grill guys in our group so we enjoy cooking at the house as well as drinking and relaxing there. Here’s the house I was looking at when I was looking:

I literally go every year. Everything you basically need/want is on property. They are slammed with reservations (and short staffed), so hopefully that changes by 2024. Regardless, as soon as the phone lines open for the month(s) you're looking for, call them up and snag whatever rooms/lodges you want along with tee times at the courses you're looking at. Keep in mind, depending on DST, you can get in 36 easy on some days and really pushing it on others (time of year obviously). Also, try and make your dinner reservations in advance based on that size of group if you are trying to have a nice sit down at the Forge or want an upstairs dinner at McKees.

I book group around 16 yearly. not a big deal, just make sure you call on the days when booking opens for the dates you want. The call centre will walk you though everything, but a bit of research on the 'random Bandon thread' on here will help.

 

FYI you need to 20 golfers or more to go through the group booking department. Ironically large groups bookings come with more restrictions and costs so it not the best option for everyone.

You have to call on the first day they open reservations for the time you want to go. I booked a 4some 20 months in advance to stay on site in the Summer '23. Place sells out like hotcakes.
