Nike Apparel @ The Masters....Ugh

I am usually forward looking in terms of accepting non-traditional clothing colors and patterns. However, whoever was responsible for the Nike gear at The Masters should look for new opportunities. The only thing that looked remotely decent was Scheffler's vest on Saturday and Rory's outfit on Sunday. Tigers Sunday shirt had some weird looking snake skin pattern, Schefflers shirts were some weird stripes that give you a headache and Finau's color mix was a stretch. 

 

Could be me but was a big disappointment. Just me?

Finau’s Saturday qzip you posted above was pretty gross and I agree with not liking the pattern they used for Tiger’s mocks.
 

On the other side of the Nike fits, I liked Cameron Champ’s simple combos this week.

There were some good showings out there. But yeah, Nike either hit or miss for most the last couple years at Augusta.

Finau may have been a personal statement, maybe a lgbt thing.

So far this year it appears that earth tones are making a comeback.  Also pink, fuchsia, coral.  And primary colors, red, green, blue.

 

 I’m serious.

 

 I would assume grays and pastels will be on the decline.

Scheffler was wearing the same polos as Tiger. 
 

I may die on this hill, but finau rocked the sh*t out of his Saturday fit. I thought he looked great.

I agree Nike lineup is getting stale. Even TW gear looks dated.

I haven't bought nike clothing in probably four years. The fit and designs are terrible especially when compared to what other companies are doing.

It kind of hurts me to say I'm moving away from the Nike bandwagon too. I'm a pretty broad guy with wide shoulders and their stuff just doesn't fit me as well as some of the other brands. Also definitely some questionable designs/patterns lately.

I've gone full puma pretty much except for shoes. Puma fits me much better and the cloudspun line is so comfy.

If I don't like something Nike puts out, I just..... Don't buy it. Just like every other company that releases clothing. Weird concept I know, but just because one season of releases is not great, doesn't mean I will never buy Nike (or any other brand) again. To each their own I guess, but I don't understand the slander.

It's not been just one season,  it's been a shlt show for a few years now....

I actually like a lot of the ADV apparel and Player's polo's, along with the staples (flex pants, clc99 hats, etc.) from this year and last. 

 

Its just the shoe lineup that I'm not a big fan of.

Finau’s shirt and hat pictures in the first post are awesome. And I really mean that. Somehow so ugly that they come out the other end and look cool. I would buy and wear them.

 

I liked Cameron Champ’s understated stuff too.

Agree.  Tiger’s Azalea colored shirt on Thursday was sort of cool….other than it being a mock neck which just isn’t my thing, even in the early 00s when they were popular. 
 

Tiger’s and Scheffler’s weekend shirts were no good. Looked like Morse code on them.

Agreed!  The Thursday shirt was the only thing that peaked my interest from Nike.
