Titleist99
Watching the interview with Ted Scott on the Golf Channel and he said that the Masters Tournament let him take the flag from the eighteenth green. Scheffler has to take it to the Champions dinner and let the attendees sign it...how cool is that!?! What's your favorite perk for winning the Masters ?

NJBigFish22
From what I understand they get Honorary Member Status. I think that gives you more time to play outside of the tournament. I am not sure if you need a full member to play with you. I doubt they told Tiger he needed a member to play the week before with Charlie and JT. 1 Quote Driver - Callaway AI Smoke Mini Driver 10.5* Driver 2 - Taylormade Mini Driver 13.5* 5W - Cobra LTDx 4i - Honma TR20 V w/ Modus 105R 5i - GW - PXG 0211 ST w Steelfiber 95R 52* - Nakashima Black Ninja 58* - Cleveland RTX6 Putter - Odyssey Versa One Ball - Srixon Q Star

bscinstnct
For me, obviously the dinner ; ) But added bonus is when Stadler is talking about the course setup for the year and says, ”What do you think of that, Greg?” And the room pauses and then erupts in laughter 🤣 Works every time. Yup, Faldo said he has three jackets and they are all sized to the day he won. He has to tell them ahead of time which one he wants to wear during the week of the invitational. Faldo also said he does not have playing privileges other than the rounds as part of Masters week, he brings his son as his guest every year. fairways4life
I think the biggest perk is the lifetime exemption into the tournament (well, "lifetime" until they encourage you not to play anymore once you can't break 85 lol). At only 25 years old, Scottie can now realistically play in 40 (or more) Masters tournaments from here on out. It's a tough tournament to qualify for and everyone wants in, so to lock it up for life at such a young age is a huge deal. He never has to worry about it again.
Retsof2021
Pretty sure Faldo said he wasn’t suppose to have all 3 and it was due to getting resized. I’ll have to listen to that interview again. Edit: Just listened again and he confirms Jack and Tiger don’t have 6 and 5 in their locker. That year he had 3 was because they didn’t know which one fit and he had them try to make one more “European”. You solved the mystery of why Faldo has a few jackets! “1. You only get to bring it home for the year after your win. The following year it has to stay at the club and can only be worn on the grounds. 2. If you’ve won before you get the same jacket, unless your size has changed a lot. Tiger hasn’t changed all that much, which is why he seemed happy to say “it fits” when he put it on Sunday.“ Given how Faldo has “grown” as he has aged, makes sense he needs new jackets to fit properly.
