Please explain this "safe zone" thing.  So Na should have approached Murray in a private area because then Murray would have felt okay to pound on Na?  That isn't the reaction of a sane person that has their wits about them to want to get violent with someone that called them out in person for the shenanigans they started.

You don't go antagonizing someone, while ensuring you are safe from any retribution. Jamie Vardy said it best, but I won't repeat it here.

Also is Bojangles really that much better than Raisin' Canes, Chik-fil-A, etc.?

I don’t think so. Na didn’t go up to GM in a bar and trash talk him. 
 

This is more a workplace thing. It’s like if some low producer who never makes quota, some loser, sends out an email to the whole company mocking a long standing, strong producer.

 

You can’t do that. 
 

And if the better performer calls out your bs in front of the whole sales team and b*tches you out, you can’t go threaten violence. 
 

Grayson is a zero on tour and his reputation off the course seems very poor as well. 
 

Na was unprofessional but, as you say, actions have consequences; )

Yup. Once you get a reputation as a slow player, it's next to impossible to shed that reputation no matter how much you improve. It's a scarlet letter. He may be on the slower side regardless (I honestly don't know), but he will always be remembered as the driver yip guy.

Five pages in the WRX thread on this petty little kindergarten spat between two people hardly anyone cares about, and three on the actual Mexican Open itself. 

 

Truthfully, I've watched almost none of it - not sure why, but it is an incredibly boring tournament. But have watched (and am currently watching) almost every moment of the girls at the Palos Verdes. Much more interesting golf, on a much more interesting course.

I was caddying in a high level amateur tournament shortly before Grayson turned pro. We were paired with Grayson.

 

We played some holes and then there was a rain/lightning delay and we had to come off the course for a bit.

 

We go back out there after the storm clears for the re-start. On the first or second hole after the re-start, Grayson hits it into a greenside bunker. I guess there was a little bit of standing water still in the bunker from the storm and Grayson thought he should get some relief so he called over an official. The official either didn't give him the relief or didn't give him as much relief as he thought he deserved or whatever. So he just went off on this official. I'm talking cussing this person out. Straight up verbal abuse. 

 

Who was the official? An elderly woman who was just volunteering her time. She looked like she was almost in tears as this toothless redneck was laying into her. The rest of us in the group (players and caddies) stepped in to put a stop to it. It was disgusting. Some tough guy he is.

 

That was the highlight from 2 days of him acting like he walked on water and treating everyone around him like crap. Just 36 holes of rude disrespectful behavior. And cussing out old ladies who were kind enough to volunteer their time so that he could play a golf tournament. 

 

Grayson Murray is a classless, clueless, egotistical piece of trash and I hope he's selling insurance before long. 

 

And there it is.

 

My opinion is a bit off topic, but why should anyone get relief from water in a bunker?  It's a HAZARD...

Yes. Gosh, I wrote a comment about a golf tournament, on a golf discussion board. I know, totally insane! That simply stated what the attendance and viewership numbers are going to make clear: This is a really dull tourney that no one is watching, and the only interesting thing about it was two minor guys being children. 

 

Thought it worth bringing up, and don't actually think a handful of sentences is "pontificating" (and I'm saying this as someone that does really ridiculous pontificating - but did not in this instance).

TBF,  it wasnt like Murray had done nothing and was just walking by and Na got angry for no reason.  Murray started it earlier with his remarks about Na.  Now, Na should have handled it better and Na's twitter comeback was actually where he should have left it, or better yet, should have just ignored Murray.   And Murray should have also handled it better, rather than talk about what he would have done,  like a teenager trying to act tough guy, when he is the one who started it all with his remarks.  So, I think both players are at fault here and both could have handled it better.

The world is full of tough guys.  A few years ago I stupidly pulled out in front of a motorcycle because I did not see him.  Nothing happened fortunately and I pulled over to apologize.  Rolled down my window and I could hear him saying that I was lucky.  I said I was really sorry and then he said that I was lucky that he could see that I was an older man as otherwise he would have pulled me out of the car and beat the s out of me.  LOL he really looked like a mild mannered doughboy and I doubt that he ever got in a fight in his life though you never know.  Anyway saying what he said to a stranger is probably not very smart because you never know who you are dealing with or what they might do.
