I had one of those in the past.  It’s close but the pistol shape isn’t the same.  Closest I’ve found is the absolute x iomic … but that still ain’t it.

I was about to start a thread on the state of the prices for Scotty grips. Why doesn't he just make more?? I see some PULLS selling for over £/$150 which is ridiculous. I used to be a collected over 10 years ago when prices were reasonable (and the grip was in production). Bring back the dancing grip, baby T grip, orange grips etc I really can't see why they stopped production on those it's just made the secondary market out of reach for most people. Scotty is becoming the Rolex of the golf world.

I have a Studio Crafted "Made to Play" Matador style on my gamer Golo6. Looks and feels like the real deal, cost me $24. I just ordered one of their Pistolero Midsize "0 Putts Given" for a backup I just got.

 

I dig Cameron's stuff, but I'm not paying $100 for a silly grip.

Paying and over 100 bucks for a used up slick grip is asinine. 

I just got my OTR/poorman CamSmith 009 (new Mizzy01 flow black). I was trying to replicate the overall neck flow and blacked out look.

 

I wanted a rubber grip that was easy to black out paint fill and gave the same feel as the BabyT without paying $150. Went to my local EW and they had a new/old stock of the PING Fingerlock Grip. To me it has the same overall feel as the BabyT and is very easy to black out with the right paint pen

 

Maybe try this one, I love it.

Finally obtained a Baby T and put it on my Phantom X.  I can see why some of the best putters use this grip.  The shape and texture are top notch.  It enables me to have loose grip pressure.  Can’t believe that I like it more than my usual PP58 stalwart.  Wish I had 10 of them in storage.  Great grip.

10 of them will only cost you about 800 bucks right now!

I've given up hope on it for quite some time now.  But I do like the idea of trying to duplicate it.  Surely GP could take a custom order if the minimums were achieved.  I'm sure we'd have to tweak it a little.

If you just keep an eye on ebay you can still grab them for a not insane price. I just bought a one time pull on a ebay a few days ago for 35$. Worth it to me since its my favorite grip of all time and there is really nothing else like it. I can't imagine gaming a putter without one!

I scored one for 30 right after you said this.   Now that I have one in hand the green star pro only is by far the closest shape.  The butt is taller on the green star and it’s ten grams heavier but the closest to the baby t shape.

In one of the other Baby T threads someone said the Golf Pride Green Star was a Baby T copy. Never played a Baby T but I do like the Green Star.

Not quite sure. But I have another source I can find as well that I just used for the old new decade putter grips. I got one of the velvet pros and his are perfect not dry like some old stock.

I put one of these on my putter thanks to your recommendation.  It’s similar to the baby T but not quite the same.  Weighed it at 67g.  I believe the T is 71g.  Feels a little smaller and softer.  Still it’s a nice grip.  Not sure if GP makes them anymore.  I would still love to get my hands on some baby T’s but not at these prices.

I ordered some of those golf pride linked above. Did 1 wrap masking and 1 wrap double sided and absolutely love it. I went back and ordered enough to last me a long time.  Coming from tour tradition with 3 wraps masking 1 wrap double it’s perfect.

I bought a couple and I’d say it’s very similar, not quite as wide under the top hand, but it seems to fit me better!  I’ll find out when the snow melts.  For the low price I’d recommend trying one.

quick feedback:

- I did double tape for a bit more weight and feel

- The flat part is not as wide as the original (smaller by a few mm)

- The flat part edge is a bit more round and not as “sharp” as the original

- Pistol part felt good. Feels a bit bigger (softer rubber might the the culprit)

- Good texture from the mini-logos

- Rubber is a bit softer 

All in all, nothing like the original but for the price, it’s hard to beat. 
Im sure when I miss a putt, it won’t be because the grip was ever so slightly different from the original but bc I can’t putt

 

i ordered the eBay golf pride grips that was listed in this thread. Will post feedback when I get them installed

This is kinda funny, this grip seemingly checks every box for what i’ve been looking for (weight, shape, material, etc.) and it just so happens to be some random brand i’ve never heard. I guess this is why I lurk on these forums lmao. Just placed an order, $10 after ground shipping.

 

I don’t understand why there are hardly any options for rubber ‘velvet style’ pistol grips in the 55-65gram weight range these days

Yes,   I actually had my Scotty reshafted, and a new Baby T which was included.  After 30 games the Baby T was slick, no amount of washing and wiping brought it back.  Yes, I could sand it and get it like new, but it’s not gonna last.  Pretty disappointing for this genuine high end grip.

Had picked up a couple Karma grips last winter and put one on. Way better tackiness , stays fresh with a quick wipe and for me is a better fit to my hands.  
I’d recommend the Karma grip, can’t beat it for $2.49

You might be thinking of PURE. Iomic still seems to be alive and kicking.

Iomic make great grips, the putter collection is well worth a look and I personally prefer the feel to Baby T's
