What current drivers DO NOT have a draw bias?

I feel every new driver mentions in the details of it "draw bias"... i hit a cut!!!!

At the risk of sounding extremely sarcastic... Pretty much any driver that doesn't list it as being draw biased 😉

 

Just about every OEM is putting out 2-4 models with each years new line. 1-2 are typically draw biased and the other 1-2 are not

 

For example: TaylorMade = Stealth, Stealth Plus (added weight track), Stealth HD (draw biased)

Aren't they adjustable ... so you can adjust the any draw bias out of them?

 

What are you currently playing? Have it measured ... you may be surprised to learn it, too, has a closed face.

If they don't say they're draw biased they probably aren't. There are many drivers that offer a draw biased version, so the standard version is definitely not draw biased.

Inherently draw biased drivers in terms of design/marketing are most definitely in the minority, so i'm not sure where this "every new driver" idea is coming from because I see no evidence to support that, and if anything the opposite is true with many popular models being fade biased in recent years (M5, SIM/SIM2, G400 MAX, G410+ and LST, G425 LST, TSi3). 

It's also important to understand what this even means and the continuum it is on. It's not binary, fade or draw bias refers to the horizontal location of the sweet spot with fade bias moving it towards the toe and draw bias towards the heel. Therefore this bias relates purely to strike location and what your misses are. If you primarily play a fade and your miss is in the toe, causing either a straight ball or a double cross, then a fade biased driver can be helpful. If however your miss is in the heel which causes a slice then a draw biased driver, or one adjusted to be with moveable weight, might be preferable. Then you have the face angle elements and how that influences flight, another factor to consider since curvature is determined by face angle (and its relation to path) while being augmented by strike tendencies. Merely holding the idea that "I play a fade therefore I don't want a driver with any draw bias" is reductive and can be detrimental to finding the right fit, especially since we rarely know how much bias there is or is not. 

The best thing you can do if you truly want a head the suits you is to determine your strike tendencies (either with impact tape or foot spray on the face), measure your head's CG location (using something with a flat enough surface on both ends to balance the head on), then work to manipulate whatever variables you feel comfortable with to match these points together.

Pretty much all OEM's are great at listing the current driver flight bias on their spec page and a lot are on the neutral side but probably are actually fade biased but they don't say it cause they don't want people to think it will slice.

My Stealth+ in neutral is far more fade biased than my tsi4, and it ain't even close.

Go buy any adjustable driver. Have a fitter set it to your optimal settings to give you the cut that you want to hit. Leave the sleeve alone at that point and go play golf.

Just because you play a cut doesn’t mean you need a fade biased driver - whatever that means. Huge misconception.

 

Read into why Callaway fits mark leishman into a draw biased driver ever year - and he’s one of the most profound cutters of the ball on tour.

OG sim is pretty fade biased from what I've heard. Sim2 is more neutral (what I currently use) but def not draw biased. I'd assume Stealth is similar.

Yah I found the OG Sim very fade biased, and the sim2 not quite as much

Literally one of the most draw bias drivers I've ever hit. Just get a TM stealth or Sim or Sim2, Ping LST, Cally triple diamond whatever else is mentioned above in a 10.5 loft and move it down to as low as it'll go. Face open 4 degrees. Boom. Solved.
