IMO if LIV succeeds then it leads to a fractured state of pro golf and less of that "good golf" to watch.

I know it’s hard to fathom in this day and age, but people can have opinions without choosing sides.  I’m pro LIV and pro pga tour and I will criticize them how I see fit.  I don’t want to see any unfair practices from either party.

One of them is going to do way better than the other and they'll merge or collaborate in some way. We'll all be fine...

 

If i had to guess (and i'm a moron keep in mind) , LIV will take a bunch more guys, there will be a secret meeting in a volcano layer, the PGA tour will offer to tar and feather Jay Monahan and make him the scapegoat for all of the tour's follies. The tour will ask LIV to be a complement to the PGA much like WGC (fulfilling Greg Norman's lifelong dream) and reduce their event count and allow players to move freely provided they play enough PGA events. LIV will be kind of like a season long all-star game for PGA players to make more of that sweet cash

 

Greg Norman will demand to have a statue of himself put in front of PGA headquarters and be named commisioner of the PGA , replacing Monahan as a condition of all of this....Which will be considered a slam dunk until the 11th hour when it's given to Nick Faldo instead, fulfilling the prophecy.

We have all these reports but not a single quote from Smith. If you are going go. Winning of the PGA Tour obviously means nothing to him if the reports are correct so why stay.
