I’ve watched that’s site looking 4-6 days per week for 6 months for one of those and never have I seen one.  Only eBay for stupid prices of like 400 or more for any loft less than a 5 ut.

Yeah especially these days, I’d go through a rep, be hard pressed to find Tour only and unicorn rarities on the site till they get the clearance section back up and operations fully functional.

As other have said it wasnt listed on the website.

 

I knew there was an inventory item for it from past questions to customer service and I asked about it last week and they had inventory QTY all of a sudden.

Got it.  Wish they would make it public for general consumers.  
 

I’ve had a couple customer service issue with the preowned site and stories like this just make me avoid them in the future.  

less frustrations for me and they will still be fine🙂

It is public for general consumers, you just have to call CS and ask for whatever your heart desires.

Any guesses on if/when the 100% trade in bonus will be this year?  Trying to decide whether to spring on the 50% bonus now or hold out....

And also anyone have any guesses why Callaway extended the current 50% bonus a full two weeks?  Did they not sell as much as they wanted to or get enough new inventory for CPO?

They do this every year. 
 

Will probably be a 2x trade promo by July or august.

Question for those familiar with CPO.....I ordered a like new set of 21 x forged MB combo irons...I received my shipment today, and the box contained a set of x forged 6-wedge in rough condition. Called them and was told the irons I ordered no longer existed. They said I need to return what I got and wait 4 to 5 weeks after they receive them back and then they will issue a refund...I understand the wait time, but when this was obviously a mistake on their part, I wouldn't think they should be tying up my money for six weeks....Anyone else ever have a situation like this with them?   I always spoke highly of CPO, but not so sure now.

If its an RMA return, they usually credit it back a few days after UPS delivers to their dock.  Not like the normal trade-in which takes 5-6 weeks at the moment.

 

Once you return them and confirm with the tracking that they received it, I'd recommend calling them a couple days later to confirm and they should push the credit through quickly.

Unfortunately that’s the circumstances with the warehouse receiving being slammed, along with change of locations. What they told you is their standard protocol, I have gotten some returns refunded earlier in the past. 
 

There are two other alternatives, ones to keep them and they’ll refund 10% or the other  is finding a similarly priced set (not sure if it’s every rep able to offer this) as exchange.

Last year when the warehouse was slammed they were issuing refunds for RMA's only, to customers if you called CS as soon as the tracking showed delivered.

 

Idk if theyre doing that again.

My return was delivered on Feb 24th and It has been a month since... They have yet to issue my refund. Calling them now to follow up. Ridiculous.

My oldest return was delivered 2/21.  Called today first thing and the rep (Jeremy) told me should be by end of week.  Online, they are running 20-25 business days and today was 22 business days for me.  Fingers crossed.

They are always slow with returns but you would think when they flat out sent the wrong set of clubs and have no idea where the clubs I bought are they would speed things along a little. Oh well, there are worse things that could happen.

Little mini-rant incoming. I’ve got a couple of things going on with Callaway—some purchases, some returns, some trade-ins, etc. Everything from a processing standpoint takes too much time as we generally know these days. Returns, refunds, credits, etc. Days and weeks to get anything resolved.

 

So then I call Callaway today to speak to CS because I needed to sort some stuff out. They have “heavy call volume”, so I do the thing where they call you back. A couple of hours later I get a call back, but of course by that point I am on a work call so can’t take the Callaway call. So, later on I call their CS line, and they have not offered the call-back option, and I have now been on hold for about 1.5 hours waiting to speak to CS.

 

I don’t think I am over-reacting when I say this is ridiculously bad CS, but what do I know.

I just hung up. Couldn’t take it anymore. I’ll try again tomorrow—just insane. This is a golf company—how many people are calling them during a day that their CS is simply overwhelmed (and yes, along with all of their other timing issues these days, they must simply be woefully understaffed). Very frustrating.

I stayed on the line for 1.5hrs yesterday trying to speak to someone about my refund that hasn’t been issued in over a month and finally hung up. Just insane.

I call as soon as they open in the morning and get connected right away. Waiting 90 minutes is ridiculous

Yup, I have kind of determined that. But, I called them the second time with at least 2-3 hours before close, and it wouldn’t be such an issue if they picked up within even 10-30 minutes, or returned the call within 10-30 minutes. But yes, when they take 2 hours to return your call, or 2 hours to pick up while waiting, the entire process sort of breaks down.

did you select option 1 (placing a new order?) or 2 (question about existing order?). I've found I get connected quicker when selecting option 1, and then proceed with questions about existing orders 😬
