Cold Weather Garage Sim - What heater do you use?

Hey all-

 

I just put a simulator in my garage and have been enjoying it here in Minnesota this fall.

 

It gets cold here in the winter, and I will need to add some heat in order to make the space usable. Wondering what heaters you all use? Looking for recommendations, price points to budget for, etc.

I live in central NY, so very similar climate. Been a very mild fall, but I think I'll have to start heating within the next couple weeks.

4800W (240V 20A) fan forced construction heater. I just use it to keep the garage at 8-10°C.

I’m in Canada and installed a ceiling mounted 40,000 BTU Natural gas forced Air.

Easy install and heats up very quickly.

I’m very happy with the setup.

Garage is attached to the home and 22’x24’.

Fans can interfere with dopplar-based systems

I have Mevo+ and GC2. If I have a group over and we're using Mevo, I just turn off the heater. Insulation is good enough that it can coast for several hours without needing a top -up, especially if there are people in there swinging sticks and talking.

Wire one of these options into your fuse box. It’s what I use, works very well.
