I walked the course today, spending most of my time with either Big and Lil John's group or Tigers group.  Watched Nelly and JT a little as well.

I will upload some photos and videos from my phone tomorrow or the next day.  They were not playing the course from the tips, some holes were two tee boxes up for most players.  The course itself is not all that impressive, just a typical Florida resort style course in slightly better than average condition.  No rough to speak of and they had flip wedges into all of the par 4's so had it not been so windy, the scores would have been lower for sure.

 

Is a fun event from a spectator standpoint, lots of kids and a small amount of interaction from the players.  Not much for attendance today which was odd since it rained for less than an hour and wasn't cold.  I really enjoy the parent child format because I got to play in them growing up.  Congrats to Bernhard and so, they ripped it up today.  Apparently the kid can really play

Is it easy to get close to the players and into good vantage points on the course?  Do they have a good setup for spectators to watch players on the driving range?

Yes

 

Much more friendly than a PGA event, yes the crowds are small and it's easy to see the players, even Tiger.  Course is dead flat so easy to walk, although I recommend staying off-site to save money unless you are wealthy. Bring your kids, they will like it too
