A 4th diamana profile? Wonder if it’s a stouter PD, meaning similar to ventus black or hzrdus smoke green “extra stable for modern athletic swinger” as they all like to say in copy

Edit: it’s a successor to D Limited. I play DF in 3w (and have in driver in the past). Lots of people swear by D Limited (like Tiger til recently). I’ve never tried it myself and never understood what made it distinct from PD/DF in the first place (Dilead?)

I know people are saying it's the D+ LTD's successor but anyone following the line knows the "White Boards" have gotten more & more stout in the DF & especially the PD.

This looks to be more of true successor to the W which was a somewhat unique profile that gave some incredible results.

The W actually had the Dialed In Fiber as well......People seem to forget about the W for some reason but next to the Ahina it was my all time fav Diamana.

Successor to the D+ Limited sounds awesome.  Not sure if I'll get one though as I've moved on to mid/low shafts but I will test it.  Should be low/low but smoother and feel a bit softer compared to the DF/PD which are straight up rebar to me.

The W from the B/R/W series is the obvious answer but who knows. Mitsubishi kind of dropped the W profile in favor of the DF in the 3rd gen line and let it skip a cycle - and is maybe now bringing it back.

So many whiteboards, so little time.

So like W was...WS possibly not as tip stiff as D+ or DF, PD.    I know its speculation, but it's fun to try and figure out where this would fit into a really stellar line of shafts.

This appears to be a premium release; for reference the MSRP on the GT in Japan is 44,000YEN, this new WS has an MSRP of 55,000YEN.

Looking at the materials they have DIALED in the handle (the D-Limited also has this)

Quick translation of the text;

In February 2023, Mitsubishi Chemical will launch the Diamana™ WS series.
As a forerunner of the times, Mitsubishi Chemical's original tone type shaft boasts numerous achievements in domestic and international professional tours.
The Diamana™ WS series has an excellent sense of stability brought about by the rigidity of the tip, so you don't have to worry about making a mistake to the left.
Strong trajectory that suppresses too much grabbing even if the high head speeder goes to hit because it swings boldly
It's the shaft. In addition, 40t high-modulus carbon fiber material is placed in the tip part, and DIALEAD™ is installed in the butt part.
By doing so, it is possible to improve the initial velocity of the ball. The hand side has a sticky feeling, and it is charged by turning back.
It conveys power directly to the ball without losing power. In addition, Mitsubishi Chemical's brand shaft
A premium design with an identity IP coating is used. From 40g to 80g
Matching with the most advanced clubs is achieved with a total of 21 specs.

Wasn't the Kaili' White supposed to be the new ultra stable profile?  For some reason that shaft didn't take off like I thought.  Didn't make a dent against the Ventus profiles.

Kai'li White is touted as white board stable with blue board feel.  It's done well on Tour but it's not getting Ventus level play but what shaft is?

If this WS profile is similar to the outgoing D+ Ltd it will have a stiff mid section and a very slight counter balance.  Time will tell when more info comes out.

IMO the PD was the true "Ultra Stable" Line for MCA the past 2 years.  It was a board compared to what the OG whiteboards were.

Great shaft if you could handle it but it was not as "user friendly" as a lot of previous whiteboards.

Agree.  I had one that lasted a few months.  I couldn't get over the way it felt.  I also had to really go after it to make it work.  Kai'li white, D+ LTD, Tensei 1K and 1K TPO are all easier to load and feel better/smoother to me compared to the PD.

Not too high Jack the thread and talk about a different shaft but to stick with manufacturer. @MITSUBISHI CHEMICAL is releasing this while waiting for the Tensei 1K Blue 80TX for my 16.5. Still gonnna hope. Playing the TPO1K in driver and it is so stable and reliable. If MCA is listening please give us some tid bits. Will definitely test a proto for you if wanted. Ok carry on about the WS!

Yeah I know people have said it's the replacement for the D+ LE/D Limited but I wanted @MITSUBISHI CHEMICAL to confirm. The weight and torque number are a bit different from the D+ LE and D Limited.

D+ Limited Edition 60TX: 67g and 3.1°

D Limited 60TX: 68g and 3.1°

Diamana WS 60TX: 63.5g and 3.5°
