best stand bag for push / electric cart?

what have you used for a stand bag that can also be used on an MGI Navigator or a push cart without the stand getting in the way too much.  On the electric cart the stand always gets in the way of it sitting correctly on my current bag. thanks

I got the Zip Navigator late last year. I used my stand bag in it and found that the legs of the bag prevented the bag from sitting flush. I was constantly readjusting the bag and straps. Not fun. I have read that others have experienced similar issues with stand bags. Some have had issues with the legs on the top, and others with the stand mechanism on the bottom preventing the bag from sitting flush. I will be getting a new bag soon. I’m trying to decide between the MGI bag or the Sun Mountain Sync (designed for carts).

A guy I golf with puts his stand bag on his MGI backwards with the stand facing out.

My sun mountain 3.5 isn’t tall enough for my Motocaddy m7. 
 

i saw a vessel bag sit nicely in a zip navigator.

 My Ping Hoofer works great on a Clicgear and Caddytek push cart.

I use a Ping Hoofer on my Zip.  I used a bungee cord wrapped around the front of the bag, hooking onto the legs with a SM 3.5 before I got the Hoofer.  It worked pretty well.  Depends on how much you "want" a new bag.

stand doesnt get in the way on a the top cart bracket on a hoofer?

I don’t think it’s the stand itself that causes problems on push and especially electric carts; it’s the foot mechanism that triggers the stand on some stand bags that causes constant twisting.  
 

I love Sun Mt bags, but when I got a Zip Navigator I had to move on.  Callaway bags are the same.  Titleist and Ping bags, by contrast, trigger the stand by pressure on the bottom of the bag itself, so there is no external foot to get in the way on a push or electric cart.

 

After I put my C130s in the attic, I got a Titleist Hybrid 14 stand bag specifically to use with the Zip, and it’s worked great.  Plenty big, but still has a stand.

You might want to take a look at the Maxfli Honors+ bags.  The stand mechanism is incorporated into the bottom, and owners have said they work well on a cart.  I have a Maxfli Air that will work (if you buy a velcro strap to keep the legs together), but it's a smaller bag that I carry and likely won't fit a full set of clubs well (I only carry 7).

my problem with my current bag is the bracket for the legs on the bag doesnt fit in the top bag holding bracket on the cart, theres a gap on the cart where it adjusts for different size bags, but mine its on top of it.  I guess I need on thinner that fits in between the top bracket of the bag holder on the cart.

That’s the problem I have with my stand bag.  The top “arms” of the Zip do not wrap around the bag well…because the leg mechanism sticks out. This causes the bag to twist easily. Thinking of getting the Zip bag.

I picked up a Titleist Hybrid 5 to use with my Caddytek and it's been awesome. I was going to go with a 14 club top but voted against it.

I just googled that bag. It might be the answer im looking for. I cant quite figure out how that push cart stand will fit though.  Unfortunately, no stores around here sell the mgi electric cart i have, so i cant try a bag on one in a store. It would be a little weird driving a robot cart into a golf galaxy to try on bags. lol

Get a ClicGear Bag cozy on Amazon $20 something bucks. It will make the stand bags sit flush on both carts.

I haven't tried it myself, but the Callaway Fairway+ and Fairway 14 bags look like they were made specifically for this.  

 

The legs start a bit lower down the bag and above the legs, they have a plastic reinforced section where the bag would rest.  Might be worth checking out.

I've got a titleist 14 hybrid stand bag that works great for push carts. The stand mechanism is built in to the base of the bag so it doesn't slide around.

   I'm looking into the Titleist Hybrid bag and I think I've found what I'm looking for in a stand/cart bag but how does it hold up as far twisting?

For me the combo of hoofer and mgi all terrain didn’t work at all. Constant readjusting 😒. So I got a big Max aqua hybrid 3 instead.. but it carries nowhere near as good as the hoofer.

The Big Max summit you can get from Costco is awesome.  I use it on my batcaddy and golf cart and you can carry if you want.  You wont regret getting this bag

I also have the fairway 14 from Callaway, it works perfectly with the reset of the stand legs lower on the bag, I have the the Batcaddy X3R and it fits perfectly on it, the same can be said for the riding carts, no issues at all...
