Wives/Golf Ireland Trip

So many things to do, you'll have a great time pretty much no matter what you decide.  I passed on Ballybunion (available time didn't work with our drive from Doolin to Ballyseede) so no opinion, most love it.  

 

Lahinch was a blast and we had a terrific meal in the clubhouse after the round.  Some cool and challenging holes and elevation changes.  Even had the goats come round and see us (pics not great, but they were fun and looking for any part of my sausage roll they could get).  

 

Lunch in the Dooks clubhouse was really good as well.

Most obviously play Ballybunion then on to Tralee, Waterville and Killarney. Plenty to see, drive the Ring of Kerry. Pretty cool. Classic trip.

But then you could go Lahinch/Cliffs of Moher, Galway, Connemara/Clifden, Westport, Carne, Enniscrone/Sligo. That's nice too, very scenic, but the golf is a tad wilder.

Lots of other options though.

Looking for direction on how to best take advantage of all 7 days.

Limit travel as much a possible. Ballybunion, Tralee, and Waterville. Perhaps plays the junior course as warm up or play theses course twice.

 

lahinch/ cliffs of Moore another trip. Even though distance look close in the map, takes a while driving thru winding sometimes single lanes.

 

hit pockets of Ireland and not try to do the whole SW in one trip.
