I hope it's a good long while before Maxfli raises their pricing because I think it's going to be my new game ball.

They've raised the price $5 with each new version.

Their "sale" prices:

2019 - two for $50

2021 - two for $60

2023 - two for $70

And I got my 2019's for two for $40 when the 2021's came out.

It was $120 last year. You could get it down from there with DSG rewards points or a coupon code in store.

I've never been able to buy a sleeve at the Golf Galaxy in Orlando. They only sell sleeves of Bridgestone ridiculously.  The encore elixir 2022 ball is just as good as the maxfli and it's only $30 a dozen.  But you do have to pay for shipping but their coupons bring the total cost for two dozen less than $30 a dozen.  just saying.

I also play the OnCore Elixir and usually purchase when they have the buy 2 get 1 free which brings the price down to $20 a dozen

Played the tour x this week for the first time and I have to say I might make it permanent. It did everything I wanted. I’m high speed so I live in the high compression x balls and nothing has outperformed this. Popped a few 320ish on a cold day and was able to flight down spinning wedges. Will have to see what happens on faster greens as the season goes on but I can’t see any reason to not play this ball.
it’s hard off the putter and wedge but once again it’s an x ball so that’s just gonna be a reality. Just need to adjust to the feeling which will take some time but I think I will recommend these for a while

Finally tested and played the new Tour today.....WOW !!!!!

I have tested them all basically.....prov, csx, bx and bxs, z star, rb tour, etc, etc

THIS Ball is Perfect for me

I am a low spin, 155/160bs player who likes a soft(er) ball, but still like some pop

Felt Fast off driver, control with irons, one hop and stop wedge and great off putter

yes, I am gushing, but for Me it was THAT GREAT

it's my ball for 23 for sure - just ordered 12 dozen

ready

Surprised they changed the markings. It was part of their identity.  Personally,  I find the lines distracting on the tee and I hide them. But, on the green I do/did use them to align the ball.

I’m extremely happy they did. That’s the only reason I stopped playing them, they were too busy for me. I think the new markings are so much cleaner but the still denote the “CG” feature.

Same here - I played the Tour last year and the markings were a bit much.  I've used the Tour S this year and it's a cleaner, more premium look.

I’m interested in these, but trying to figure out what would be the best fit. Favorite ball the last few years was the Bridgestone BX. Have played Srixon XV and Diamond, but not looking at those anymore.

I’m a high spin player with around 105 mph driver swing speed. Balls have a tendency to rise off the driver and approaches into greens are within inches to where they land including long irons.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The Tour model plays like a ProV1 or regular Srixon Zstar so higher spinning with a more penetrating mid launch.  The Tour X plays like a ProV1x and ZStar XV.  Lower spinning with higher launch and firmer feel due to higher compression rating.  The Tour S plays like the Titelist AVX,  softest cover of the 3 - lower compression , but lower spin, lower launch.

I don’t think this is right except Tour S. The Tour is lower spinning with a mid launch and Tour X should be higher spinning with higher launch

This isn't 100% correct.  Z Star XV is more like the Left Dash ProV1x, not the ProV1x.

The Tour is the ProV1 and the Tour X is the ProV1X, that's true. However, the Prov1x is higher spinning than the ProV1.

Below is a comparison chart of the Tour S, Tour, Tour X from the GG website.

Would love to hear more for high spin players like posted above with Similar swing speed. How is new 23 version distance?

I'm in the 109-113 mph range for Driver swing speed and have been testing the Tour X against ProV1x since March after finally giving up on paying $56/dozen for Prov1x. I haven't tested on a trackman to see real data so take it with a big grain of salt but I have tested side by side as much as I can. My tendency is definitely getting a little handsy and seeing spin/launch jump up a little bit.

Off full irons and driver I don't see any measurable difference on well struck equal shots for spin/distance. For touchier wedge shots and greenside chips there is maybe the slightest of differences with V1x getting ever so slightly more spin, but it's close enough I question if it's just me expecting to see more spin vs actual increased spin from the ProV1x. I prefer the feel of the V1x for chips and putting but it's plenty close enough for me to save $26/dozen and play the Maxfli. Durability is about the same, no noticeable difference I could comment on. As long as I don't find one of those pesky trees or cart paths a ball easily lasts a full round still looking good enough to avoid the shag bag.

Overall, after a few months of trials I loaded up on the Buy 3 Get 1 Free ProV1x deal and I plan on using the Maxfli for 90% of my usual rounds, and I'll bring out the ProV1x for tournaments or rounds I deem a little more "important" just because the ball lab reviews have a little more consistency in the production for Titleist balls. But from a performance perspective I find very marginal differences between the two and would highly recommend, already converted one friend last week! The 4/$120 deal is too good to pass up for such a quality ball.

Have any of my Canadian brethren found a location to get these from?  Specifically the Tour S.  GolfWorks.ca carried all Maxfli options previously, but don't seem to be now, although no break in price like DSG and GG have for the US contingent

The 2021 Tour was / is an excellent ball for those of us with less than 95 hour swing speed . Bought the 48 special last year and never used them then and gave most of them to my son. Had six left over and took them out today . Surprise the heck out of me. Great distance and feel.
