I hope he looks good out there or at least somewhat competitive.

 

None of us know his personal situation but my guess is that if he could afford to stay home and keep enjoying his life and not put himself under this microscope - he wouldn't have put himself through this. So I hope from that perspective he has a good showing.

I'm referring to the collapsed nostril, which is a classic side effect of drug use. Coupled with the decades-old rumors of AK's hard living lifestyle, I'm comfortable making the inference from the picture alone.

he was given lifetime ban from PGA tour due to failed drug tests.  Covered the issue with bogus insurance policy/injuries storyline.

Before there was a whisper of AK signing with LIV it was all over Golf Channel and other pro PGAT/anti LIV outlets that he was interested in returning to pro golf and they were excited about the prospects of AK getting sponsors exemptions and working his way back.  Is signing AK a publicity stunt for LIV?  100% it is.  But don't act like the PGAT or it's water carriers didn't have their curiosity piqued as well.

Could be wrong, but I think it's because at some point in time a lot of people just assumed some of the bigger names on tour would make the jump to liv. Rahm was just the latest example.

I have to admit, this is impressive gaslighting given the fact that the Tony Romo was given a 1 time exemption by the Punta Cana event's sponsor (at an alternate field event no less).  The comparison to a full-season exemption to guaranteed money to a guy that has not played competitive golf in a decade may be the best work that I see on the interwebs this year.
