Didn't Veylix have a rainbow (pvd) finish some 7-8 years back (wildeye colorway) with a couple of their shafts?

Not sure, but KBS just came out with a line of PVD iron shafts this week and autoflex has one as well.

Correct.  Still have one actually.  Very underrated shafts.  I have a 888 Rome with the rainbow finish in an old 3 wood.  Just as good of a low/low shaft as anything out today, honestly.

I loved the original Hulk, until the AV Raw White beat it in dispersion.  Really hoping they have made a few improvements in this version.  As this is the next shiny thing, I could see myself putting it in the bag based on looks alone.

I played the Aldila pink NV in my 904f during the Paula creamer days. That was a deadly combo.

project x does a great job with their pvd finishes. Wonder how tt and project x revised the specs on this one. Hulk green og was the hardest shaft to hit left IMO. that thing was a beast.

I'm with getair23. I may get it for looks alone haha. I still have my og pvd hulk hanging on my putter rack just because it looked too good to sell under 150.  And... I don't think it can kick the ventus out. We'll see lol

Looking like a better version than the AutoFlex rainbow.  That one I hated but this one’s looks decent.

I still have an Alpina 673 Wildeye laying around. Had another one in a driver a few years back that I didn't get along with that well. Couldn't tell if it was because of the driver head (R15) or the shaft. So I sold the driver. Looked great though LOL!

Great info, thanks for sharing.  The limited edition writing speaks directly to this not being new.

 

It was fun while it lasted.  I’ll still be all over this if offered in 75 or 85 for a FW.

Small batch is/was used for their shafts that were individually processed for tolerances vs. the mass production shafts sold..  

 

Not comparable to velocore vs. non-velocore.

My understanding was small batch was tighter tolerances around weight only? Are there other measurables that are tighter with the small batch?

Not really sure.  If you remember they used to use the Hand Crafted moniker prior to Small Batch.  

 

TT is one of the best manufacturers who contributes to this site.  Let’s see if they chime in.

not saying this is the new hulk but i did see px post a story on ig saying theres a new hulk being released. the story showed the hzrdus green rdx and also a pvd green shaft. still no thorough details though

I've seen a couple mentions of those Nippon PVDs but can't seem to find them. Anybody have a link, even to a picture? 

 

Modus 125s are a good fit for me -- I'd 100% buy a rainbow PVD set if I could find one.
