Any i210 users still out there?

I bought a set of i230 which I really like.  I have not sold my i210 and won't be selling them.

The differences I see:

Shape is a bit different, moreso in long irons.

Feel a bit different, but the more I play with the i230, the less I notice.  Side by side, maybe slight, but they both feel good.  I have different shafts in them so that's also a variable.

The i230 hits it a bit lower with a little less spin.

I think the i230 is a bit more fade biased.

You can't go wrong with either, and I'm sure some players may prefer the i210 over the i230.  Hovland seems to.

I had the i200s and could only fault the shaft that came with it (AWT95). I know there were a few changes between i200 & i210 but still felt the i200 was a great club head. I really should've re-shafted them with something else. Funnily enough, can still buy a new set of i200's in my area (https://www.thegolffactory.com.au/shop/golf-clubs/ping-i200-irons-right-hand-regular-steel/)

I’m still playing my i210’s in my main bag and my backup bag still has i200’s in it.  For me, they’re both great irons.  I’ve been playing the i210’s since about 2018.  Other than just to spend $$$, I don’t have a reason to try anything else. The i210 really works well for me, with my skill level.

One of my favorite sets, and still in the running for my bag this coming season. I bought them a couple of years ago Power Spec, Steelfiber i110 R, Green Dot.

Outstanding irons, and top three sets for me with my C300 Forged with SF and Apex ‘21 with Catalyst 100.  I am just so comfortable with the C300 Forged that I always seem to come back to that set after giving another set a chance. But the i210 look, feel and play great.

Still have mine as well although I have the i230’s now. Such a great iron and don’t think I’ll ever sell them. The i230’s for me, are a club longer, more fade biased and fly just a tad lower but that’s to be expected as they’re power spec.

I’m a natural drawer of the ball so like the fact that the i230’s are a bit more fade biased.

Nevertheless, if the i210’s are in your bag, no reason to move to another iron. They’re fantastic.

Great irons. Easy to hit, even though I'm not the best ball striker. I'm considering bending the long irons 1-2 degrees strong because the carry distances are a bit close together.

If the i230s weren't so expensive, I might think about trying them. But right now I stick with the i210s.

I have a set of i210s - I really dig them. They feel great, look great, and launch and spin high for me. I have a fitting Saturday, will certainly test the i230s as well. To my eye, the i230s are one of the prettiest clubs to come out in a while, at least one that has some tech in there for extra help. I hate shiny, and I hate details - I like how sleek and simple they look.

I recently picked up a used set of i210s with C-Taper S+.  Previously played Mizuno MP53 with DG X100 for a long time.

Here's my comparison:

Looks:  To me, they are very similar in size (blade length and topline).  In the long irons (especially 4i) the Mizuno is sleeker, as the Ping's back cavity is slightly visible from address. Winner: Mizuno (based on subjective preference).

Bounce/Sole:  The Pings have high bounce and a wider sole, the Mizuno's are low bounce and thinner sole.  Honestly, both are easy for me to get through the turf.  Winner: tie.

Feel:  No question the Mizunos feel better, to me it's not even close.  The Pings feel solid, but not as soft as I was expecting (based on all of the WRX rave about how soft they are).  Some of the feel might come down to difference in shafts.  Winner: Mizuno.

Forgiveness:  I know there's a lot of hyperbole about the Pings, but WOW, these things are ridiculously forgiving.  I thought the MP53 was already pretty forgiving, but the Pings win hands down here.  Mishits are way more playable with the Pings, and the long irons are especially easy to point and shoot . Winner: Ping.

Distance:  I got the regular loft spec for the Pings (45 deg PW). For reference, the Mizunos are one degree weaker (46 deg PW).  Only 1 degree difference, but I was shocked that the Pings were longer at least by a full club.  Some of that might be due to the shaft/spin/trajectory.  I can't imagine what the i210 power spec lofts would be, as the regular specs are plenty long for me. Winner: Ping.

Trajectory:  A lot of this might be due to the shaft, but the Pings had a much more penetrating flight.  Winner: Ping.

Overall:  I know it's cliche, but the Mizunos cannot be matched in feel and are addictive to hit.  But I've also now realized that modern players clubs like the Pings are objectively more forgiving.  They are both satisfying in different ways, but I will be bagging the Pings for the foreseeable future.  And as an aside, I'm really liking the KBC C-Taper shaft - when I'm holding it static, it feels like a lead rod (which is not good), but when making swings it feels incredibly stable/predictable.

I210's still in the bag. And will be for a long time I got these 3 years ago as a 25th Anniversary present. I wanted to fully commit to a set of irons for more than a year or 2 so I figured if they had sentimental value they would stay put. I picked a non forged club so they would last longer and I picked the I210 for its consistancy on distance. If I hit a little draw i get consistant 5 extra yard or I can hit a little choke down  shot that take off about 5 yards. If I hit a stock shot there isn't much distance variens no fliers or dead balls unless I put a really bad swing on one. They aren't the most forgiving or have the greatest distance of any iron. I have been playing this game for 37 years 53 years old about a 7 hdcp and I can honestly say these might be the best overall Iron I have played. They might not be a fit for all in shape, sex appeal, grind/bounce but they work form me. I am a trapper of the ball not a sweeper and in my opinion work best with this swing type. I don't take a huge divot but there is always a 3-4 divot after the ball. I have not tried the I230 because I'm afraid It might be what kicks these out. I feel I could play these for the next 5-7 years and still be very happy.

Still in my bag as well…despite my best wrx’r efforts to replace them. On my third set of i210’s and for me they seem to have the perfect combination of playability, turf interaction, and forgiveness. May give PXG Gen 6’s a try next, but will never sell this set of i210’s…just in case.

I played a combo of the i200/ iBlade for a couple of seasons, moved onto a set of Miura cb57 been playing them for 2 seasons. While they are nice irons, I feel my mishits were getting punished so bad like loosing 30 yards, a couple of weeks ago I found a set of i210, 4-U in my specs with Accra tour 100i (was playing steelfibers and wanted to try these) what I have found, forgiveness is much better. Mishits only dropping like max 15 yards. I don't want irons that are going to have to make me learn new distances, if I pull my 7 iron I want it to go 167 yards. That's where the i210s shine. As a decent ballstriker these just make the game that little bit easier. Think I've found my set for a few more years.

I've had i15's,i20's E1's, 210's and 230's. Liked them all but I loved the E1's (still in cupboard), loved the 210's couldn't warm to the 230's. Have moved on to T200's love them. Could understand guys moving into the T150's really nice clubs but the T200's are perfect for me. Not lacking in any area.

are these the new T 200s? How are they compared to the i210s?  Looking for a little more distance and forgiveness. Thanks.
