Post Your PING’s (PLD, Jim Wells JW, WRX, Tour Issue, Heirlooms)

I wanted to create a spot for folks to show off their PING putters. Wether it’s a PLD, Jim Wells, WRX custom, tour issue or just the awesome one your grandpa gave you put it here! 
 

I’ll kick it off with a couple of newly acquired PLD’s. 

 

First a LPGA tour issue BRUZER. It has LPG serial number, TR grooves (retail version had no grooves), very nearly face balanced (retail version had more flow) and the copper sole plate has no number. 
 

Second is a PGA tour issue PLD3. It has special sight lines and the copper sole plate has no number.

Awesome! The DS72 is my favorite of the newer shapes…the Oslo is a close second.

Haha - thanks! It's always nice to find fellow fans of these Jim Wellses and WRX Pings - they are very underrated IMO in terms of quality and rarity.

 

I love the Cushin (although wish it was a tad less offset - I also have a Scottsdale zip Cushin with a straighter shaft).  This season I am mainly using the stainless JW Zing 5KS with minimal offset and a 385g head.

 

ETA - your tour issue PLD3 (designed with input from Seamus Power, I believe...) and Bruzer are both fantastic putters.

Thinking of softening the bumpers of the anser milled to look like a dalehead. Not sure if Ping does that or not?

Any idea of what the headweight on the anser milled is with the added tungsten weights?

yes it is 360g according to Ping. I would like to lighten it to 350g or less if possible which is why I was considering softening bumpers. Not sure it could be done. May need to sell and buy something lighter.
