Tsr4 versus paradym triple diamond drivers

TD is looking like the low spin king this year.

 

I've been smitten with the stealth 2+ played at 6⁰ with a ventus black.  Getting identical numbers from a paradym TD 9⁰ and ventus tr blue.

 

The stealth 2+ keeps exploding on me.  5 heads since early January.  On average getting 2 rounds and 50 range balls out of a stealth 2 head before it gives up.

I have.  I own a TSR4 9°.
 

I tried really hard to get along with the Paradym TD. The first time I hit it, it was almost love at first sight and I historically have hated every Callaway driver I try. It was the faster of the two when I tested by 1-2 mph, but when it was faster, it was also knuckling sub 1700 RPM on a GCQuad.  I can keep the TSR4 in the 2200-2400RPM range that works well for me on the course.  I'm a relatively high spin player with a Neutral to slightly up AoA with my driver.  SS hovers between 116-118 and can be pushed up to low 120s.

Feel like tsr4 fairly forgiving and workable with the new face? I think it looks amazing. I’m still a while away from being able to swing club but thanks for feedback.

It's fairly forgiving with the heavy weight in the rear, but not to the level of the TSR3 I had before.

 

I don't have a problem hitting a fade with the 4.  I have noticed it is harder to pull out a big swooping draw though.  I think that is more user related than anything though.  I've worked a lot to eliminate the left from my swing.

TSR4 won outright b/c it had tighter dispersion. The feel was much better and I like being able to flip the weight to kinda create a TSR3.5.

 

The face is very forgiving given the size. The ATI partnership is a great one.

Have speed?  Thats crazy!!  TD head is very quick this year

I have a TSR4 10* with Tour AD TP 6 and it is a really solid driver. I hated the sound so I had some hot melt added to make it more muted. I haven't had an opportunity to hit it after the hot melt but I'm really hopeful.

Haven't had the chance to hit the TSR4, but tested out the triple diamond yesterday and man that thing is a rocket. Was fully expecting it to be too unforgiving, but the bad shots weren't any worse than with the standard paradym for me. And when middled... my god it might be the best feeling driver I've hit this year.

I have similar swing speed and aoa, but I struggle with high spin.  Paradym TD for me was great with spin numbers even though I wasnt able to try it out with my preferred shaft.  I just bought an 8 degree TD head and will put my ventus tr blue 6x shaft on it and hope it works.  Will have a few weeks to mess around with it before my scheduled Titliest fitting.  

 

I heard great things about the TSR4 and I really hope I dont hit that well because I would have to put the TD up for sale haha.

 

I am not patient when it comes to equipment so had to pick up the TD when I had the chance.  Either way will post results when I compare the two

I also started with the Ventus TR Blue but in 6TX, tipped an inch.  I had decided to purchase the Kai'li White 60TX for my TSR3.  From Ventus Blue to Kai'li White 60TX, my spin dropped about 500 RPM on the TSR3.  That trend generally holds true on the TSR4.

 

Problem is, the TR Blue is my favorite shaft, ever.

TSR4 just knocked out my Rogue LS, and the TD was not for me.  All in all I got more distance and better dispersion with the TSR4.  I probably could have gone TSR2, but the smaller head was producing less toe and heal shots.  Ventus Blue 6S in mine, 105-110 ss.  I also am lofting up, going with 10degree for better launch.

Great - i'm not sure if it's just me, but hitting the center more consistently and driving it well.  I think the higher launch has helped but i an keeping it in the fiarway with mostly baby cuts where the miss is a ling straight ball.
