Golf Cart Laptop Mount?

Has anyone found a good solution for mounting a laptop in a golf cart or on a push cart?

check ram mounts, i'm sure they make a cup holder mount.

Assuming this is a riding cart that you own and not a rental, I am picturing something like a mount that is bolted to the floor of the riding cart like the ones used in work trucks. A lot of those truck ones get attached to the passenger seat rail bolt, you might have to rig up something by drilling a hole in the floor of the cart. The whole concept of doing this is hilarious, but I can appreciate the lengths one will go to in order to enjoy some golf while you are supposed to be working...

This isn’t to regularly work while playing - there’s the occasional situation where I’m off work but need to take my laptop along in case something urgent comes up. Just seeing if anyone has seen an easy solution for mounting to make it more stable and easily accessible. I would have thought that this is something that there would at least be a niche need for.

Just googled for fun and was expecting something like a cup holder mount but they're designed for tablets. Only laptop mounts for vehicles I saw require a hard point to secure to I guess due to the weight of the laptop the vehicles are used in. Maybe if you have a small enough laptop one of those tablet mounts could work?

How about keep your laptop in your locker or in your car and if you're seeing something so urgent on your phone that it must be responded to, and it's too complicated to respond to it via your phone, you ride back to the clubhouse and take care of it there (or in your car).

I don't know why this has so many negative comments.  I work from home and I'd rather work from my golf cart.  I take my laptop now and it just sits next to me on the seat.  I answer an email or two while the other 3 guys hit.  Why sit at my desk at home if I can be golfing instead?  I'll even take a call and skip the hole, still beats being stuck at my desk.

So, I am a PGA Golf Professional and looking for a solution to using paper tee sheets for my starters.  We are working to go electronic and use a lap top for starting as our reservation tee time system is web based.  Looking for recommendation for a steering column attachment arm/mount that would hold a laptop and possibly a mouse pad. Anyone have any experience/industry knowledge on this subject? Thank you!

Wouldn't an I-pad/handheld device make more sense for a starter?

havent the law enforcement agencies done this with their laptops for many many years?  Even the power source component.

 

Why not check into a law enforcement car accessories type of site/location?

I'm as anti-social as they come but when I play golf I want to be interacting with the guys in my group. If I played with a guy who was answering emails on a laptop and taking phone calls during the round - it would be the last time.
