Titleist t100 feel

Yep. Equally soft on center strikes, but T100 feels more stable and powerful.

Agree. I hate when people say this stuff, but if you don’t think the T100 (2021 particularly) is soft, you either only hit them indoors or you aren’t hitting them properly.

Glad I stumbled on this. Was about to order a set of T100 irons. Now leaning toward TM P7MCs I think.

MC are amazing but really depends on your ball striking. They’re more demanding through the set than t100 and if you aren’t + to low single digits they’ll likely be more club than you should take on. T100 can be played effectively up to a 10 or so that has some distance.

If you want better feeling with the similar forgiveness go with Srixon. The sole grind and footprint are very different through.

This is definitely true and I'm not sure that I'd call them comparable clubs.  TM doesn't really have anything to match the T100 space at the moment and the P7MCs are a lot closer to the 620CBs in terms of what player they're suited to.  Not to dissuade you but make sure you know what you're getting 🙂

I've gone back and forth with the T100 quite a few times.. I agree with most on here, they are very soft, especially for something as forgiving as the T100 is... only thing that compared or I thought was a little better was the 923T, which may be a little bit less forgiving.

Agree that the 923T are a little softer than T100.  But like the P7MC, they're way more demanding.  Both clubs are not as forgiving, but they're also more demanding - you need to be swinging faster with more centered strikes for those clubs.

Been playing T200 since release, but kept looking at the T100s, wanting to at least try short irons, had the 8-G all spring so far, love them, and really not any less forgiving and loving turf interaction.

I got the 6/7 delivered last week, get them out on Wednesday, maybe the best looking 6/7 I have ever seen at address, excited

I’ve played 5 sets of Mizunos. I’ve played a couple generations of PXG 0311T. I have a set of Miura MB001.

The T100 are the best set of irons I’ve ever owned. They feel great when you hit them in the middle of the face.

I get that things like looks and feel are subjective, but this thread confuses the hell out of me.

ap2, t100 have always had feel complaints because they are multi-material irons with a lot of tungsten and welded plates etc. However they are very forgiving in a players profile that looks great.

Love the feel of my T100S. That and the sole grind, ball flight and forgiveness, are the reason I play them. Hit it on the sweet spot and you just feel the ball compressing on the face. I'd put them same category of feel as Miura, different, but equally good.

I’ve been a pretty big critic of the ap2 line in terms so feel.  It was always the biggest factor that kept me from playing them.  However, the t100 line feels pretty great.  I would not really call them soft, but really really solid.  They feel more like blades than ever before.  That really pure dense feel.  Impressive irons.

My old set were 716cbs, whilst I still had them I tried the T100’s at a fitting. They are certainly firmer in feel/sound etc.

Nice looking set of clubs though.

Have you tried the 620 CBs? Would be interested to hear your thoughts on the 620s vs. 716s vs T100?

I just got a set of T100S (6-GW) - they feel pretty soft to me, even the 6- and 7-iron.  Using the AVX ball primarily.  I've had several sets of Titleist CBs in the past, and my other set are Miura CB-801's.  The T100S feel better than the older Titleist CBs and definitely have a different feel than the Miuras, which are more dense/solid than the T100S.

I tested the 620CB's and T100 at the same time. The feel of the CB's to me was very similar to the 716 version, performance wise there was not much difference either (6 iron only). The T100's were slightly firmer in feel/sound, the difference is less than with the 716cb and 716AP2.

I don’t get the too firm or clicky conversations here either. I’ve been gaming the T100S 2021 irons since their release and have been super happy with feel, feedback, performance, etc. Best irons to include feel I’ve ever gamed and they’re not going anywhere. From personal experiences, took me awhile to get used to them, but once I dialed in my swing and consistently found the middle, they’re like butter. Of course if you put a bad swing on it, you’re gonna get punished and they’ll feel like crap. I’ve also been rotating in and out ProV1s, ProV1x, AVX, and Mizuno RB Tour balls, and feeling on the iron has been consistent.

If T100/T100s felt like crap or clicky, I doubt tour pros like Jordan Spieth, Cam Smith, Zalatoris, and Jessica Korda would be gaming them. Seems to be working out for them 😉

I played the t100s for a decent amount.  Going in I was worried they would feel clicky based on others feedback, but I didn’t find that to be the case.  I didn’t find them to be very soft, but I liked the way they felt quite a bit.  Firm and solid.  Kind of like Miura’s that don’t feel exceptionally soft to me, but feel fantastically dense and good.  Put down your pitchforks, as I am not saying they feel like Miuras, and they certainly are not as good feeling as the Miuras I’ve hit, just that they have a sort of firm feel to them that I find pleasant in the same way Miuras do to me.

The mixed reviews the t100’s get on feel just shows how subjective it is judging how irons feel.

They are also paid very well to game them. No one is doubting their performance. Just hoping the fall release improves on feel.

Very interested to see which direction they go in the fall. If they do improve on the T100 series I imagine the change will be minuscule - for example, something like the Zx7 change with the MkII.

One random internet thread of a few people being very picky about the feel of a certain club has persuaded you to change your mind?

In 20 years when our AI rulers have eliminated the production of golf clubs and we are risking our lives to go play at our local muni's - the '21 T100/T100's are going to be so sought after its not even funny.  The combination of looks, feel and forgiveness they packaged into these irons is legendary.

Indeed. These are the best irons I've ever played, and I can't think of any iron ever made that I would rank ahead of them in terms of the whole package. And if "feel" is your beef with the T100, then I suspect you're going to have quibbles about every other players club out there.

I just ordered 620 CB’s for this reason. They just feel better and the difference in forgiveness is not as much as you’d think.

I’ll rephrase. The forgiveness of T100 isn’t meaningful enough for my game to outweigh the feel and turf interaction of the 620 CB. I hit the 620 CB better overall.
