Anyone find a head to head comparison of this vs. Mevo+ with pro package?  Seems like they are direct head to head competitors here.

 

Also, what does E6 cost as it looks like you have to pay to unlock the E6 integration but I assume you still need to acquire E6 and any courses on  your own.

Here's a comparison to the Uneekor. I was really hoping to pull the trigger on a Skytrak+ (and sell my original Skytrak), but I feel like the Club data is just a little too off. 

 

I wasn't in the market for an upgrade, but Skytrak+ gave me the itch. I want to see it benchmarked against a BLP before making a decision.

There are some incremental software adds (things like Shot Score) that I think they're considering as a part of the upgrade package.

i chatted with a skytrak rep and he said all units will be sent by end of the week.  I hope i receive my shipping notice later this evening.

My shipping notice puts my delivery for Tuesday June 6th. Excited to try it out tomorrow.

when did you place your order and when did you receive your shipping notice?  I placed my order on 5/15 FWIW

I ordered 5/9 from playbetter and other than getting a notice last week that it should ship this week I haven't received anything...

Still on the fence over the new unit.  My original has been going strong for almost 6 years.  The new one does have some additional info that'd be nice to see but it's also not info you wouldn't already know based on ball flight (face closed or open; draw or fade; etc.).  Only thing the original has never done well with is reading my driver correctly...or even close for that matter.  It reads everything as a wicked hook and that's not close to reality.  If the new one fixed that it'd be worth it.  Will wait to see what others say once these start getting delivered and tested.

So far it's junk. Android app won't discover the unit even after I connect to the Skytrak plus WiFi. If it isn't fixed in the next 2 days I'll be returning it. Such a waste of time and effort. Unit is completely useless if it won't connect.

When I had an original Skytrack mine did the same thing, super big hook every time! I had to set the unit up at an angle to the hitting area to get it to read straight.....

Sorry I had to work late and didn't get back, but I placed my order on 5/9.

 

Just got it set up and I will get more testing done, but here is the first shot I tested. I wasn't able to get it to connect to my network, but it was easy connecting it directly to my iPad.

hey, did anyone use the ST+ on actual grass?

 

I watched a Youtube with the new ST+ on grass but the shots was not picked up. In the end, they had to place the ball on a piece of artificial grass mat for the shots to register but each shot, the matt would fly off or move.

 

I went back yesterday on YT, found the link but it appears that video has been deleted. Nothing in the archive.org either. There is one "outdoor" ST+ YT but thats on artificial grass/mat as well

 

Just wondering if his was a bad unit or what's going on...

I thought they stated that it doesn't work on grass.  You can use outside, but has to be on turf.

I believe I also read somewhere that it has to be on a mat to work.  Probably sometime to do with the grass and sorry flying that messes with the optical sensors

Hmmm. I am sure they will update the OS later for grass down the line. It's too good a unit to be limited to artificial grass/mat

At least it isn't just me.  I don't even swing all that fast...slow in fact.  If I get 100mph SS I'm lucky so I know it's not a speed issue. Just don't think it likes a teed up driver ball.  Everything else however is generally good to go other than the occasional missed shots which really is no big deal.  Anyways looking forward to seeing if others have issues with the ST+ unit and then will make a decision.

Old unit had a software update last week that pretty much match the UI of the new ST+.  Graphics are actually better.

I'm not sure the cameras can pick up the ball coming out of grass unless you are hitting off a green.

Has anyone that ordered around May 20th received their units or shipping update yet? Getting really frustrated with Skytrak customer service. Have called a few times now and each time they tell me they essentially have no idea when my unit will be available to ship, yet several of their 3rd party partners (play better, rain or shine, etc..) have units that are ready to ship the same day. Guess I will have to cancel through them and order from one of the other companies. Kinda ridiculous in my opinion.

FYI, i chatted w/ ST (via website) on Monday and was told all units will ship by end of week.  I ordered on 5/15 and my unit shipped Tuesday.   Try chatting online and see if that gets you an update.

Thanks. Thats interesting they gave you a timeline. I did the chat support twice before calling so that I could talk to two different people and both times they just said all we can tell you is it is processing and you will get tracking number once it ships. All the responses I got seemed very scripted and I couldn’t even get them to give me a timeline of days or weeks. Frustrating when their 3rd party vendors have stock ready to ship out today.

this isn’t encouraging. This is on network mode? Have you tried connecting direct to the unit?

finally got my shipping notification.  Arrives on Tuesday.  Bought a brand new ipad and a stand as well to try using in my backyard with a net.

I didn't try connecting using USB direct. I tried network mode from my tablet and from my phone and neither worked. They responded to me via Twitter that Android app is still being worked on and will be ready soon. I don't like that they released the product when all options aren't available without mentioning it prior to purchase. I think I'm going to return and get the full swing TBH.
