Sets up great behind the ball and the shape is awesome. But the head is really heavy and for me at least, I hated the sound. Once outdoors, it made a high pitched ting off the face.

I have one and really like it. I prefer a clickier sound/feel. It's about 20 grams heavier than most "standard" putters. It also has a significant toe hang which is unusual for a mallet shape.

Love the headshape....hate the weight. If I could get it about 15g lighter and w/o the siteline.....I'd buy it today. (I know, I know...I could get that thru PLD custom, butttt $$$$$$)

I don't think they can make this specific head lighter. As I recall it's 365 minimum.

When I have a 365g or 370g putter I like, I install a 30g TourLock Pro counterweight in the shaft under my hands, about 3-4 inches down the grip, and it balances it out nicely.

Feels a little different from a typical counterweight in the butt end because it is more under the hands. Gives you all the stability benefits of a heavier putter, but the putter does not feel like it is heavy.

I have one and it's awesome for me. (Somewhat biased cause I shot the best round of my life with it and couldn't miss a 20ft putt on the second time out.) Setups up great behind the ball. Weight was perfect for me, didn't think it was overly heavy but I do like a heavier putter. I have a 34" version. Distance control has been the most impressive thing about it for me, when I'm not making 20 footers, (following rounds haven't been as automatic which I obviously expected), everything ends up within a foot or two. Couple Ping guys using them on tour as well. No regrets, even with the steep price tag, for me. Cheaper than my driver experiments!

For those who are gaming, did you guys get it regripped?

Anyone been gaming one of these all season? Really considering pulling the trigger on one, I just don't love the look of the black stepless chrome shaft. I wish there was a way to order with the regular chrome shaft without going through the entire PLD process ($$$).

i’ve been using it. it’s really good, i love it. coming from an old scotty studio style newport 2 330g (my beloved for years), the oslo 4 seems to putt on its own. got fitted for it and was rolling it dead straight (0.0 face/path) with forward spin. i was a streaky putter my whole life, but this putter has given me so much confidence on the greens, allowing me to focus more on the read. wasn’t long for me to adjust to the firmer feel and different sound. i got a 35”, switched out the midsize cord ping grip to the standard tiger ping blackout grip and i choke down to the narrowest part of the grip and got really good feel + stability with it. the black mallet, with black shaft and black grip is a thing of beauty i’ll tell you hwat
