ventus tr blue users; pros and cons?

No reason for me to change this year. The TR Blue is extremely stable and I have high confidence with both clubs. When I tested the red, black, and blue, I parked on the TrackMan at our course for a couple hours. All of them were fantastic but the red had slightly worse dispersion and slightly higher spin. The numbers were so close at times it was difficult to determine what was outside margin of error. The blue did feel better than both of them in transition. I could feel the blue shaft 'loaded' much more than the red/black. Black was quite noticeable in the fairway woods for having absolutely no feel. Numbers were fine but I felt like I was swinging a 2x4.

Then why do you have the TR Black in driver since you say that it has no feel?  The TR Black has some feel to it even though it's linear and stout, IMO.  If you wanna talk about shafts that have no feel and are straight rebar, look not further than the PX T1100 and RIP alpha.

I don't mind it in the driver and I assume it's because of the extra few mph I put on the swing. Black seemed to hold the snap hook off better than the blue. Dispersion averages were better and yardage basically identical. It just felt bad in the fairway woods. 🤷‍♂️

I agree.  I had the TR black in driver and it's as anti-left as it gets.  TR blue was a hook machine in both driver and 3 metal.  Never tested the TR black in fairways but I'll take your word for it.

Any long term reviews of the TR blue is a 3 wood? Got a TR Blue 6s coming for the driver. Man I sure have missed that shaft. Can’t wait to get back in it. Wondering if a 7 works as good is a 3 metal?

I have played the TR Blue 6x in driver since they came out in 2022.  First put it in OG Sim Max and hit my longest drives ever, which included driving several short par4s and also winning a long drive in a scramble.  I was in love.  Of course, I heard how dope the LTDx was, then stealth, then stealth2, then aerojet, then darkspeed and I have yet to rekindle that magic I had with OG Sim Max.

 

Do shafts and heads just seem to line up now and then to find a perfect fit for a golfer?  Ive thought about this lol.  That original combo was something else for me.  Think Im crazy or something...

I had trouble adjusting to the original blue shaft as it didn't feel very stable. This may have been because I was used to the overall stiffness of the black shaft. I switched to the TR shaft for my 3-wood and I really like it. It's a nice middle ground between the blue and black shafts. I prefer a firmer shaft but I also like having a bit of feedback. I use the black shaft for my driver and tried a TR in it this year and I prefer minimal movement in the black, but I appreciate the feedback from the TR shaft in my 3-wood and hybrid. I also like how the black shaft helps prevent my shots from going left with the driver, but I'm enjoying how easy it is to maneuver the TR shaft both ways with the 3-wood. I think the softer handle is the main reason I didnt get along with the original blue but I get along with the blue TR and the TR red
