What’s your playing length for 2/3/4 hybrids?

What is everybody playing there hybrids at?
 

Dipping my toes into the hybrid world.  My tsr3 19 degree come stock at 40.5  but I play most metals shorter than stock (44.5 driver, 42.75 3 wood, 42 5 wood at 6’1”)

I play a 5 /25 hybrid Titleist H1 818 in 39.0 inches with a heavier headweight to have real D4 SW

Titleist hybrids are not very long shafted, what is why I like them. Original SW was D2 i only had to change the weight

I play a TaylorMade 3 hybrid with stock length of 40.75”. I play my driver a little shorter than average stock length like you do, but I don’t have a problem with the hybrid shaft being too long. I wouldn’t mind it being about 1/2” shorter (this is length of stock Ping in a 3 hybrid), but it’s not an issue.

I play my hybrids at the same length as the iron they are replacing.

I carry a single hybrid, and play it around 40", regardless of loft (my heads vary from 17° to 21°). This gaps well with shorter 44" driver, 42" 3w, and 39" long iron.

Mine are the stock length of the particular model. Changing it a half inch or something wouldn’t change much IMO.

Play Pings which are 4h-39.25" & 5h - 39.25".  Just picked up 2021 Adams Tight Lies 5h (4h on the way). They are Senior flex as I am moving to that flex through out bag. Adams are 4h - 40.25" & 5h - 39.75" (actual 39.5"). Not that I hit the Pings that bad, hoping the Sr flex will add some height to shots. Adams historically always built clubs a little longer than other mfg. I will play Adams choked down just a bit and if better results maybe shorten permanently. I've noticed different mfg's have lie angle differences compared to others, Ping and Callaway flatter compared to TM or Cobra. Lie angle may impact how your swing works for different mfg compared to overall length too.

I have a Ping G425 22 degree which plays standard length. I had a Titleist 816H2 21 degree which played 1/4 of an inch long which was great, I cut it to standard length and hated it. 

 

It was the swingweight, i have added a bit of lead tape to my Ping, i think that is more important for me than the length.

Cobra FlyZ:

• 3H / stock 19*: 40.5" shaft
• 4H / stock 22*: 39.75" shaft

Callaway Big Bertha O'size 4H / stock 22*: 39.75"

1/2" long in my 4 and 5 hybrid. 40.5" 4hy 21°, 39.5" 5hy 25° 

 

Both titleist ts2. Both with -4g weights to keep the swingweight around d5. They where around d7 with the std weights.

I have played variations anywhere from 18* - 22* hybrids, and am currently playing (and enjoying) a Titleist tsi2 hybrid 18* at stock length of 40.5”. Anything shorter than 39.5” my swing will get a bit steeper than i want with a hybrid.
