Ahhhhh, well that explains it.

 

One of my poorer lifetime habits is I very seldom have breakfast.

 

Generally, a cup of coffee plus maybe the very occasional bagel, and that's it til lunch.

For me, leftover pizza is the breakfast call……anytime there is leftover pizza!!!

... Amen. I haven't had a hangover in 50 years. I don't have pizza often and almost always make my own, but I put leftovers in the oven overnight and always have a slice or two for breakfast the next morning. So not cold, but room temperature and always enjoyable!

Absolutely, finally figured that out lol. I’ll still dose a couple advil preemptively on the occasion I’m doing any serious drinking.

... I played golf at George Dunn National with a friend back in Chicago one day when it was 103* with high humidity. I brought 96oz of water in three 32oz stainless bottles and ran out having to buy more from the cart girl. My pard froze six 16oz bottles of water and had to buy more. Needless to say when never urinated once. The two guys we were paired up with brought a case of beer and  1/2 way through the back 9 bought 2 more six packs from the cart girl. They never drank any water and they were urinating every hole. Evidently seasoned alcoholics/drunks because with 3 six packs in them over 3 hours they barely looked like they had anything to drink.  I can't imagine just how bad the dehydration hit them that evening and the hangover them next morning had to be catastrophic.

Some are just better engineered to process that many beers.  My grandfather could do that until the wee hours of the morning everyday and be up at 6 like it was nothing.  As he got older we told the doctor about his beer drinking and the doctor said stopping would probably kill him before the health issue would.

... I know life long drinkers but we were just amazed that we could drink over 100 oz of water without urinating with sweat quite literally pouring off of us while these guys were sweating just as much but still peeing every hole. We both vowed never to play in anything over 95* with crazy high humidity. Thankfully pretty rare in Chicago and non existent here in Phoenix.

Indeed. If he quit cold turkey (I’ve seen it). IMO Tapering off the beer (alcohol) would have been the ideal choice. But I’m not a Dr 😇

That said, a lot of docs still use BMI as their gauge. My BMI says I’m obese and my BF% is 12%.
