How are you liking the 3 wood? Only thing I dont like and reason why I went a different route is the non adjustable hosel.

Haven't gotten it in play yet, but when I called Krank to order the driver I talked to Lance and he told me that the 3 wood has more bulge and roll than other 3 woods on the market, so just from that standpoint it should be an improvement for me. I have historically REALLY struggled with that spot in my bag.

Im telling you these things are no gimmick! I sold my TSR4 and bought an extra krank head just incase! Once you get over the looks and sound its so nice!

I don’t mind the look. After a couple hits I was fine. I like 8.5 neutral. Feels amazing too.

I can get over the looks. But I love a dull thud sound. Anyone know if Bryson's driver sounds like the regular ones or did he figure out a way to mute it?

I wanna say based on his videos he didnt change anything. I just noticed lead tape on his head but it definitely sounds similar!

It does feel like solid/springy off the face which is nice! I used the Callaway Red Dot cog so it sits 0.75* flatter I like to see the ball go left to right!

I play a draw or straight ball so neutral works for me. I have thought about opening the face a touch.

Contemplating picking up a LD head, there's a local indoor LD league and I've been asked to attend a few events, also been curious about some LD events. Just not sure if I want to order a head only or head and shaft, how are the stock shafts they offer?

Stock shaft is solid just to get started!

I think I have a House of Forged shaft already so can save a few bucks. But it seems with LD need to buy and try a few shafts to know what works.

I just got my 10.5 Pro today, the weight including  the adaptor is whopping 210.11 grams,

It has 2 x 1.5 removable weights (actually 1.91 each)

the adaptor itself is 8.22

 

I am quite surprised about this, most driver heads are around 200-202 or even less,    and 3W's are around 210,  and i need 202 to make it work for me.

May not be apples to applie comparison. My long drive head is 193 grams without the adapter  (i have an updated version of the current Fire LD head, my previous fire LD head was 197grams)

Yeah must be different.  Cant imagine 210 grams on a 48.inch stick!

 

Krank has told me that the Pro stock weight with adapter is 206.

Just a quick update on Krank Fire Pro .. I have the 7.5 degree and use this now as my on course driver with a Fuji ventus TR 6x shaft. 
Love it.  Play all the settings nuetral. 
IMO it makes the best sound out there as well. 
Something about hitting it at a high club speed flush that makes me go, "Yeah, baby..."

Especially when you hit it flush and the sound is so different than any OEM driver. It feels pretty incredible off the face too! Firm and springy!

By the way... I ended up asking Krank directly for those 2 1.5g weights. They shipped them out that very day for an amazing total price of $13 for the pair including shipping ($5 for the pair of 2 weights + just $8 for shipping USPS). They'll arrive to me 3 days after ordering them. Not bad at all!

just ordered the Krank FIRE LD 5.0 for goofs.
