Yes, it’s absolutely fantastic. A safe way to develop better swing dynamics. I’ve seen some top coaches use it w folks who don’t have power in the right spots during their swings.

I've been curious about this training aid, too. I hate that it's another expensive aid. 

 

One thing I am suspect about is that it looks like it would make me use my arms too much in the downswing. Would love to hear from others who have used it.

Swing Rites and Swing Caddies are good swing trainers for about 150 and 200 respectively. The Swing Rite is spring loaded. 

 

 

 

I bought the Swing Caddy after my Swing Rite went kaput. The Swing Caddy is high quality has a 36" flexible shaft and a heavy head. It has magnets in the mechanism. 

 

 

 

 

 

It clicks when the left arm and shaft line up. If you early release, casting the club with the hands they line up before the ball instead of at the ball. The energy releases before the clubhead gets to the ball. No bueno.

Well, I’m a sucker for training aids and my release is something I’m working on. Ordered- at least this one is on Prime and I have 30 days to return it if it doesn’t work out!

The Swing Caddy is a little higher quality and engineered better than the Swing Rite but for me anyway the Swing Rite is weighted better. The Swing Caddy is heavier.

I just received mine last week, seems like a quality product, and will report back once I get some meaningful work in with it. They basically want you to nail the release aspect prior to working on speed training. Definitely don't need a lot of space to use it.

I've seen this kind of trainer before, with the sliding weights or whatever, and have always been curious about them.  There was one that had Ledbetter's name on it for a while.

 

Question:  Do you find that these trainers work for you, and in what way?

These type of trainers have been out for a long time. The seem to work for people who are casting the most as it gets their body to move better so that the click happens in the right place. 
 

i’m 165+ball speed in the course a when I use mine it’s when I’m “muscling” the club too much to get speed. Generally I pull on the handle for too long towards the target coming into impact and I don’t release the club. 
 

It helps me be more efficient but I haven’t found that it helps with accuracy.

Sorry, I'm in & out on the road for these past 2 weeks. Looking forward to getting the speed training going right after Christmas now that I'm comfortable with their release work. I've actually seen my ball striking improve with all clubs throughout my bag. 

 

I will say this, the adjustable weight system with the different stiffness of the rubber straps is pretty good. When it's loaded fully, there's no way I can get this thing moving, and I'm a pretty strong guy. Taking the straps off and taking the weight discs out couldn't be any easier. Overall, I think it's a quality designed tool. As soon as I get going on the speed training I'll drop some more info on my results.

That is very encouraging as I do the same thing.

 

This is waiting for me as a Christmas present, so hopefully it is a good indoor solution over the winter.

Not at all, if anything, it's getting you to properly use your arms through impact and release...

The ONE club trainer makes me use muscles in the golf swing I don't normally use when swinging for speed. One thing I seem to add to get the trainer to snap is a little more wrist. It kind of reminds me of Monte's cast B - which I went back and reviewed it and cast B does seem to be missing from my swing.

Any long term success with this? Ordered mine. Have you picked up any distance and has it helped you feel the release better? Have you stuck with it or lost interest? Hoping it’s something I can take on the road and use in the hotel.

I bought this during father’s  day sale. I ordered extra bands so I have 4 heavy bands with all the weights on it .

i think this training aid will help me be more fluid with my golf swing. So far so good. Much better release and I feel my ball striking is much more solid
