Driver swing speed 110. ZX 5’s 4 & 5 irons ZX 7’s 6- W. Modus 120 stiff. Great feeling blade. My first season with them coming from 712 AP2’s w/ tour issue s400.

After hitting the Zx5 - 4 iron the other day, I'm having 2nd thoughts on the hybrid.

I have found the 4i to be very easy to hit. Nice ball flight and very long. I even hit one fat yesterday (ball ended up high on the face) and it still flew most of the way. Very very impressed with it

Did you have to tweak lofts on the ZX5's or ZX7's to make them work as a set?

I haven't noticed (yet).

I've hit these 4 times at the range and played 3 times.

A better player that is more consistent, would probably notice it right away.

My hcp is around 16.

 

Maybe some of the better players can chime in on this and comment.

I second this. I am a decent player with my index currently at 4.4 and enough speed to still get my driver around 250 carry. I went with the whole set of ZX5 starting at 5 iron through AW and love them. The AW sole gets a little beefy so I bent it a couple degrees strong just to make it sit better. Also fwiw, I custom ordered my set and the specs came in right on the order sheet. I have my own loft/lie and swingweight machines so I check them personally.

Play the 4 iron at 20.5.* 5 iron at 24*. 4 iron 1/2” over std length kinda 3 1/2 iron. My course has 2 par three’s at 210 that my 4 iron is perfect for them.
